Anne Okay, so remember long, long, LOONG time ago Diana read Astrid and said she was a two bar and there was some discussion on how she could see how important someone is? So I'm just a bit confused cause Michael Grant never really expanded on that so is that all her power is or....?

Yeah I think he only addressed it in the first book and either changed his mind or forgot about it

astrids power was a mistake he didnt mean to put it in

Benerix astrid seems to have a power similar to diana's, dianan is a two bar as is astrid maybe they are the counterparts of cain and sam, equal in likeness and power. not to say they are the same but equal. there also is a great likelyness that michael grant did; either forget that she had a power, or didn't intend on acualy having one at all.
But one question no one has raised is what is the likelyness of her power being one that is used to destroy the FAYZ. i love the seiries as a young novelist myself i have numerous ways to improve most stories i've read, but if every story had the same solution the seiries i'm currently writting would be of little to no importance.

Obviously her power was not a mistake. Do you know how many times you re-read a book before it gets published. There's no way it was a mistake. But he probably just forgot about it.

Benerix i agree with young zoe

Ciara Perhaps we'll find out in 'Light'?

Michael Grant originally wrote it in, but later admitted that he regretted putting it into the story and would not pursue it any further.

Kelli Rachel is right. He regretted putting it in and decided not to develop it. That's his writing style: he doesn't plan. He plants seeds and just sees what grows. Astrid's power did not.

Sophie It was probably an off throw. Whilst people are thinking over that, other things are going on in the series. It's similar to when there were Moofs, but it DIDN'T tell you what their bars were.

Wait so he just put it in there and decided not to do anything with it? What author does that?

Katie I think, her power was to see the how good a person is. Because I remember her touching Sam an she told him she saw a wide strip of light or something. It happened at the end of one of the books. I don't remember which one its been a while.

Benerix end of the first book was sort of a lead onto a hint that maybe diana and astrid had the same or similar powers, but in light some one realises that no two poeple have the same power. it is only after the gaiaphage dies do we realise that it made the possiblilty of those powers and so could link into them other than little petes.

No, like with Orsay, Sinder, etc., it didn't say how many bars they have. It said they were moofs, but not how many bars :)

Luna I watch video last year of Michael Grant her power Evaporated after the first book: English he changed it in the second book

Christine Maybe it was her ability to retain knowledge. Or it never developed before the Fayz ended.

Martin lyon To make peiople do bad stuff is AStrids power i think

Savannah DeFreese She doesn't have a power. I guess her intelligence makes up for it :)

Martin lyon I don't know
