I was rereading the book last night and I remembered why I loved it so much. IT was so different from Twilight. I hope they don't butcher the book doing the movie like they did Twilight.

Yeah, it is a really good book. I love Ian and Jarred. Jarred is kind of mean though.

I really, really hated the Twilight books. So, I was incredibly shocked at how much I liked The Host. Unfortunatly, from what I have of the trailers, it does look like they have butchered it.

Really? You hated Twilight? I agree that it's very easy to pick holes in, but I wouldn't say I hated it, although the Twilight movies weren't very good, except for Breaking Dawn pt. 2

On the other hand, I gave up on the host, it was really boring.

Same. I LOVED Twilight for about a year but have now moved on to other vampire swoonoers.

Yes, or 21st century crime detectives who are unbelievably hot and sometimes walk around wearing only a sheet. Or sometimes not even that.
