The largest Groundhog Day celebration is held in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania where the crowd awaits Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction. Read a book with two consecutive words in the title and/or subtitle that begin with the same first letter. Examples: Notorious Nineteen, The Black Box, Happily Ever Madder Misadventures of a Mad Fat Girl

tiffany fulbright (tuffany) | 9 comments Sticks & Stones by K.J. Larsen is a book about a private investigator who stumbles upon a murder. This book reminds me of the Stephanie Plum series by Jannet Evanovich. It's a quick read. It's the second book of the series. pg 229 Sticks and Stones (A Cat DeLuca Mystery #2) by K.J. Larsen

Marna | 28 comments Double DexterThis is the 6th book in the Dexter series. I read 1-3, the first being an eye-opening experience and the next two going downhill. The 3rd had some aspects that rendered it (for me) unbelievable, so I stopped reading the series. I'm not sure why I picked this one up, and while it is not anywhere near the level of "Darkly Dreaming Dexter", other than an over abundance of angst, it wasn't bad.

Jane | 47 comments Tick Tock by James Patterson although I enjoyed this book, I found it somewhat lacking. I did not initially realize that this was fourth in a series of Michael Bennett books which may be why I felt as if I lacked essential background information on the central characters work and relationships. I would recommend the reader begin with prior books in this series before reading Tick Tock. (436 pages)

The Clicking of Cuthbert by P.G. Wodehouse

I just love the way P.G. Wodehouse just has a way with words. This particular title is a series of stories told by the Oldest Member of the local golf club and full of tale of love, life and golf. Be warned there are the tales abound with brit slang for the links....

224 pages

Lynn | 24 comments Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days! by Stephen Manes I reread this book as I have fond memories of reading it aloud to my sons when they were in 4th grade. In the story, Milo borrows a book from the library that guides him to be perfect in 3 days. We were all laughing so hard when reading about the boy wearing a broccoli necklace to school in his quest to become a perfect person. I don't want to give away the rest of the story but it is top of my "must read" to kids. Author is Stephen Manes. 76 pages
