MobileRead Book Challenges discussion

Today I go to pull my reader (T1) out of my purse for a little "at work sneak read."


Then...

*gasp*


The screen is going!! It wasn't like this yesterday. I don't know what happened!!



I still own a Kobo Touch but here's my issue:

-Hate the current OS for the KT
-Hate the fact that the Kobo company digs through consumer reader data (pulled from devices) to talk about book trends
-I enjoyed the T1 OS mostly...but the lack of reading status % bothers me.
- I don't buy books from Sony, at all. Never.
- I buy books from Kobo all the time (because their DRM is so easy to ditch)

Ack! I think I would have a heart attack if I saw that on my Sony. Mine is still under (extended) warranty, but still.

Given the choice between KT and T1, I'd go with the T1 every time, but since you have the backup KT, I'd say use it and see how you feel about it after a while.

Right now it's all about having to use the KT. But we hates it, don't we precious?
