Zombie Apocalypse 2012 discussion

I was going for blunt and brutal. I had an Amazon reviewer say that I lost a star because they didn't feel prepared for the end. That was my favorite review. Any thoughts?

Personally, I like shock and awe. Too many books have the proverbial endings you can see a mile away. Where's the fun in that? Maybe I'm just cynical, but the whole ending made sense to me. Fuck happily ever after, that's not how life works, and if anyone says otherwise, they're trying to sell something. (paraphrased P.B. quote.)

Glad you liked it. I've caught a lot of shit over that ending, but you can't please everyone and all that.
