Todd (Motorcycleman) My first impression is good, at about chapter five and the incentive to keep reading is there :-) I hate when I get all psyched to read a book then I cant get into it.

Kerry (rocalisa) | 46 comments I've read it before, but I'm hoping to find the time to use this group read as an excuse to reread it as I loved it the first time.

I have the audio book from iTunes, however my iPod won't stay charged so might be late with this.

carol. Will join in the discussion. I really enjoyed it.

Maggie K | 282 comments I am about 3/4's through-and loving it!

Anish Just started it,am 3 chapters into the novel...and really liking it a lot!Lord dy Cazaril seems an interesting character...the setting is also great!

Maggie K | 282 comments I agree-Cazaril's loyalty could have been a bit overdone if it wasn't for his past, but I think after what happened to him, it is beleivable

Allison (rainy-day-reads) I'm planning to join once I finish my current book!

Anish Cazaril seems to be a bit too perfect,he doesnt seem to have any flaws at all!Of course,he does have his physical limitations, but other than that,no other weakness as such..

Allison (rainy-day-reads) Starting to read this today!

David Coyne (david109) One of the very few that makes me actively wonder what happens next, and whether I can't find a few minutes here or there to sneak a few more pages. In fact, if you don't mind, I'll just sign out now and get back to it ...

Elise (ghostgurl) | 1028 comments Just started at the beginning. I like it so far, it's easy to visualize. I'm already curious about what caused Cazaril to be in the position he's in.

The GR conundrum: to read, or to talk about reading.

Anna-louise | 81 comments i am reading this one i got my copy yesterday and it came in the post and i completely forgot i ordered it, it was a nice surprise on a saturday morning lol I don;t fancy reading the Gunslinger at all though!

Allison (rainy-day-reads) It took me a while to get into this at the beginning, but I also didn't have time to read more than a few pages at once. It took a while to figure out what it was going to be about. Now I'm about 80 pages in, and I'm wanting to get back to it. Good sign.

Evilynn | 106 comments I only just started reading this on the train this morning. It's my first Bujold, so I'm looking forward to it. :)

Margot (freezebaby) Just realized this finally got voted in as a group read. I've read it already and won't have time to reread this month, but will definitely join in the discussion. I love this book.

I started this with my iPod plugged in to the stereo, enjoyed beginning but left to long between listens. I'll have to restart it when I get my mg few iPod. Shame I can't get it on kindle here, UK.
