Ed Wagemann (edwagemann) Do you understand?

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm not even going to read this one. Ed, I'm trying. Don't be an ass.

Let me guess, you started a bunch of "progressive" sounding threads in order to prime the pump for this Neanderthal one? I'm going to guess this one is the real Ed. It has so much more passion.

Both of these men "qualify" for free wi-fi, given that they can go to the Chicago Public Library (any branch) and partake of it. For that matter lots of fast food restaurants and coffee shops offer it too.

If George tried harder, he could find a cheaper phone plan than $50/month. Also, George will be eligible for a health insurance subsidy under Obamacare.

George pays more in commuting back and forth to work since he works twice as many hours a year as Larry does.

Faulty reasoning. Whether I work 4 hours or 8 hours per day, my commuting costs are the same. Unless the public transportation rates or the tolls vary by rush hour/non rush hour.

My guess is both these men have a lot of stress and worry in their lives. Poverty causes stress. It's not like George is THAT much better off than Larry; George is still one serious illness away from being bankrupt and homeless. If George's rent goes up he may not be able to afford the increase and might have to move to a worse neighborhood. Larry probably spends his 25 hours of free time each week worrying about being mugged in his housing project, shot by a stray bullet, having the state of Illinois cut back his Medicaid benefits, and wishing he had a better paying, fulltime job with benefits.

But you go on dreaming this Rush Limbaugh dream where poor people are thrilled to work 25 hours a week, because it gives them so much free time to pursue their hobbies.

It was like a big piece of cheese in a mousetrap, and written on the cheese was "I'm a total idiot, please help me see how!"

I've never heard this before.

I have heard plenty of examples however of folks on welfare being less than honest during the application process. So I have to wonder how the case workers are going to know if someone is a student or not?
Especially with the overload of applicants there are now days.

Jammies BunWat wrote: "Dogs see motion so very well that they probably see TV as a series of individual frames rather than a moving image."

That might explain why my dog Beau loved seeing dogs on TV, even cartoon dogs.

I never thought Susan was a sock. Anyway, we're not kicking people out for being socks. We're kicking them out for being trolls.

We know Ed is a troll with multiple sockpuppet accounts. There's no mystery here. And Ed is not that new a member. He's started a buttload of threads, which is how we quickly discovered he was a troll. We've had plenty of opportunities to observe his trolldom and his sockdom.

Uh. Days?

::sadness::

message 48: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh stop. Sometimes it's hard to know. Especially when one arrives at the same time as a Mitzi or whatever.

message 49: by Susan (new)
