My hero of 2012, my absolute solidly favourite man/hero from a novel this year was..drum roll!!!!
Joe Callahan from Kristen Ashley's At Peace

Curran will come in a solid second. I almost couldn't choose , but there I have done it.
Sorry to all my other book heros, you are all fabulous but Joe really was something special to me.

Luke from

He was a Triumph man who listened to Tom Petty music, and that made him perfect for me.

If I absolutely had to pick I would go with Devlin.

[Sorry Lothaire, Gray Rouillard, Justin Kinmurrie, Ian Mackenzie, Marc Hunter. I heart you people too.]
But Zack Benedict *sigh* he was beyond perfect!
Zsadist ( J.R Ward) from 'lover awakened'....swoon ....
This was so so hard!!!! I'm going to have to go with Roarke...who's better than him?
But honorable mention to all Kristen Ashley heroes, as well as Braden from On Dublin Street, Rule Turner from the Lupi series, and Gaetan from Dancing on Coals.

Yep! Joe wins for sure!!!!!!!!

That's a good one. I didn't read this one in 2012 though.

Too bad and I can't pick one and his nine other equally amazing friends. ;)

I think I'm going to pick Marc Hunter from Unlawful Contact

And the Winner is.....

Honestly when I first saw the thread for Hero of 2012 my first thought was Lothaire but I had to go and look at my other books to see if any of the others I read could surpass that initial thought. And even though they came close I couldn't pick them over Lothaire.
Basically I've thought about him all through 2012. I anxiously awaited the release, I have it both in hardback and paperback, I read the book twice last year, just could not get enough of Lothaire, my favorite part of Shadow's Claim were the Lothaire bits, and I am thinking about getting the audiobook and listening to the book again. So I think it's safe to say Lothaire is my Hero of the Year.
Wow, you both read some good books last year, Desiree and Kryptonite. I can see why it's hard to choose.

You don't have to choose now, but start thinking, so by January 1st, you can answer this very important question!
