March - What are you currently reading?

I have to finish Joy in the Morning by P.G. Wodehouse. It's a Jeeves and Wooster story. I have only a couple chapters left. It's due back at the library by March 9th and I can't renew again so need to finish it.
Started Lonesome Cowboy by Debbie Macomber for our Feb challenge but fell asleep before midnight so didn't finish it in time to count it for Feb. But since I have 6 other books in this Heart of Texas series on my March challenge list and the last 1 on my read the month for March challenge list... I do need to finish it.
Oh, and I can't forget I need to continue reading Pride & Prejudice for our Read-a-long.

Your reading plate sounds full, so you push Pride and Prejudice in the back burner for now. I'm sort of going slow with it myself.

Otherwise, I started Dark Elves: Taken by Jet Mykles this AM and I am slowly getting through it. Great story (my goodness I love how Jet writes). It just not as quiet as I like it around here today =)

I had read ahead for a bit, then stopped to try to finish up Feb reading lists. Came up short anyway, lol, since I couldn't finish last night as I fell asleep. So now switched to the library books I need to finish. Then I'll go back and finish that first book in the series so I can continue. Then I can look to add something else in. lol

lol and there are so many of them. I think this newest one is the 26th or 27th!!

It is so refreshing to read a romance where you actually get to see the process of them falling in love, and you can actually see why they love each other and it's convincing... instead of "Oh, I'm attracted to you, so we must be in love" or "Oh, you're my soul mate so let's hop in bed."
I'm also a few chapters into The Outlaw Demon Wails.

I have Night Embrace right now, but the library didn't have Night Pleasures when I picked the others up. They have it on hold for me now so I can pick it up tomorrow, otherwise I would probably be reading that right now. But Night Embrace sits waiting on my shelf, cause I can't skip ahead...
Good thing I have plenty of other books to read. :)

Instead of The Pagan Stone, I started with Charlaine Harris' Club Dead for my audiobook, which I listened to everytime I'm in the car.

Right now i'm reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. It's really good so far. I'm loving the werewolve perspective.

Does your library have them? I love adding books to my collection but can really only afford to do that if they are older and I can find them used, so for newer books I have to go to my local library.

All the Psy/Changeling books of Nalini Singh that I read, I got from the library. They should be available in yours, I hope.
I do like them so much, that I'm considering when I have a little cash in buying the collection. Maybe check them out in ebay or something.

When I needed to find a book of hers for the Feb challenge of a NZ author... I discovered my library only had 3 of hers and I think all were regular romances.

I have finished Bloodlust and Initiation and just started number 3 Ritual

I hadn't read any of the authors before. So far I like Sherrilyn Kenyon and Kresley Cole, but I didn't care for Jaid Black. I hate it when authors write narration in archaic terms--all "'Tis only natural he walked across the floor" sort of stuff feels like lazy scene building to me.

I posed the question of who could Rhage be compared to as far as looks. When he is described I keep picturing Nick Carter with long hair. But then remember Rhage doesn't have long hair. But Rhage is HOT and I don't find Nick Carter drool-worthy. It's just the blond hair blue eyes thing. So. I need a been mental pic. I have yet to be able to play the link Auntee (I believe it was her, lol) sent me about the perfect men to play the BDB.

Check out youtube and ran a search for BlackDaggerBrotherhood. You'll be surprised at some of the choices by people on who do they think looks like the brothers.

Lori, The Smoke Thief sounds good. I may have to check that out.

I just finished Frisco's Kid by Suzanne Brockmann, and this story about an injured navy SEAL just made me cry. Then I picked up An Enchanted season and read Nalini Singh's entry Beat of Temptation (Tamsyn and Nate's story) and I was back into weeping.
Okay, need to read something else that will not make me cry, or I'm going to end up with a major headache..LOL..

Awww sorry Yz. Feel better =D

Lover Eternal, I think, of all the BDB books is the most romanced-focus, if I should say so myself. And yes, the other brothers have their own tormented stories to tell.

I agree that it is the most romance centered one.. but don't you think that Lover Unbound was the sexiest?? lol..

LOL...like the bathroom scene?..the bedbath scene?...the penthouse scene?.. the "walk in my mind" scene?...even the one involving a phone..did I miss anything else?...*fans herself*
V is just one hot, sexy, kinky vampire..LOL..let us just leave it at that..LOL

I totally agree about both - Lover Eternal is definitely the most romantic, and Lover Unbound is pretty sexy... I can't get enough V.

So far this series has 27 or 28 books in it so yeah skip it if you can. Though I will tell it's fabulous!

Next up is Mortal Temptations. I really liked her Dragon books so I've got high hopes for this one.

ooo the bathroom scene.. legendary.. jeezeeeee

Started Soul Mates Bound by Blood and could hardly put it down last night. I immediately fell in love with the characters in this book and while some of the dialogue written for the 400+ year old vampire is a little stilted and stiff, I'm so caught up in the story that I just don't care. This is gay erotica and not everyone's cup of tea but I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to the rest of the series.

I'm now getting ready to start the second book in the series, Texas Two-Step. I also picked up the next Jeremy Clarkson book, Born to be Riled.

I think I'll start off with
Suzanne Brockmann's Forever Blue (seems like a quick read),
Linnea Sinclair's Gabriel's Ghost (she was so kind to share free PFF copies of it for those who needs a sci-fi romance for the PNR challenge),
and Nora Roberts' The Pagan Stone (its not in any of my challenge lists but I need to know how this trilogy ends..LOL..) in audiobook format.
Happy March reading everyone!
