Ashe Library Winter Reading Challenge discussion

Hey I noticed that my last book I read: Blue Ridge Billy by Lois Lenski has not been updated on the score board.

Thanks for pointing that out! Took care of it this morning....

I just finished reading and I am planning to use Playing The Game for one of my books for challenge Level 4 option 5 all about the dress I am currently reading The Sweet Potato Queens

Will these work?

Several things that I have posted show up in the individual challenges but not on my individual challenge list , for example level 1 Phil's Prediction shows where I posted Tick Tock but it does not show on my cumulative list. Level 4 challenge 2 shows I posted Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and Mistletoe in Maine. I am trying to keep myself straight. For the past few days, i have been unable to access the library website to post new books or check my account. Is this a technical issue at my end or at the library?

If you are referring to task #5 in Level 4 ... both of these books would work for Option B. I can't wait to read your comments!

I am having trouble accessing the website as well. I will check into this next week when the library is open.

Thanks for catching that..doing my best to make daily updates and NOT miss anything but so it goes.

One question, the Mistletoe in Maine book is listed as an ebook with no page count, and you didn't add one either...if you can check on your eReader for a page count, I will add it to your cumulative.

Looks like 100 pages.

The Level Five task,#4 I'm solidly behind you, is a two book challenge. According to the post you have one book read...so that adds to your cumulative count but won't be added to your challenge progress till the second book is read.

Opps! I missed that second part. I will get reading. Also, the Salad book I read was only 221 pages, not 440 as you noted. Must have been a different book than popped up when I entered it.

I was checking and it appears one of my posted challenges is missing, level 6 option 2 I'd Like to See Your ID, please. That should bring me to 17 challenges. ( my personal goal is 20 ) Thanks!

Also, it brings you up to 16 challenges because as I can only find one posting (with only one book) for you on the Level Four, #6 Cookie Exchange challenge and that is a two booker.

Got ya, I didn't realize it was a two book challenge. Maybe I can salvage it before the end of the month!

When I was at the library a couple of weeks ago there was a easy to follow typed list of each level of challenges with the numbered criteria below them. Is there anyway to print out all of the challenges without having to go thru each section on line and then click on Level then challenges etc? I find I am spending so much time just trying to figure out what the challenges are and where to fit them in. Then my computer gets bogged down etc etc. HELP!

I hear ya! I have wished the same thing! although I have really enjoyed this challenge, but I have found I need to refer back to each level/ challenge often. I am getting better at recalling each now that we are nearing the end:)

If you are by the library, stop by upstairs and I can print you a copy of the reading challenge..

I don't think, or rather, unless you want to do alot of copy and pasting there is a way to print it off of the Goodreads site...
