Oooh! I'm reading that one now too! I had wanted to be done by tonight, but life has gotten "in the way" so maybe by Tuesday :-)
It's one of those books that I thought I must've read in high school; but now that I am reading it, nothing is even vaguely familiar. Either I've completely blanked it out of memory; or I never read it and my knowledge of it has been vicariously rendered from common references! "Tom Sawyer" and Huckleberry Finn" were like that for me too! :-)
