Well, In the Franz Kafka , it have a lot unforgetable roles in this story, the fierce father, the cool sister, the money woship manager, the story is realism, which means reflect the essence of the actual life through protrayal of typical persons. But I have question want to discuss with you guys: What does Gregor's mom representative at first period of Gregor transform, she was very fraid of him; few days later, she showed her love to Gregor, she want to say Don't hurt him, I was his mother, you don't know how much I miss him; But after she moved Gregor's furniture, She never care about of him any more. I dont know why she try to keep silience when her daughter said should kill Gregor. If she love Gregor or not? Why she do it like that or just becuase she afraid of his husband(have power at the end)? That is what I think,Kafka make that role is just another way to showing people are cool like that, everybody is the same, just some will be more gental and some will be more stronger. Even she is Gregor's mother, She don't want to abandan him just because she thought Gregor will be changed back, that means Gregor will have power back.But when this hope dissapear, every relationship will be no meaningful. Everybody will be cool to each ther whithout money relationship. Money is only reason why people treated other people so "kind". I think that is a literary skill made by Kafka to make this article better.
That is what I think,Kafka make that role is just another way to showing people are cool like that, everybody is the same, just some will be more gental and some will be more stronger.
