This is book number 5
+1 Random Tasks - Read a book by a Goodreads author
by L.J. Sellers (Goodreads Author)
13 points for Reading Passions of the Dead (Detective Jackson Mystery #4)
Marty -- I'm sorry to tell you that the parentheses will not count in this case because it is the series name and not really part of the title. I know that you asked, but I didn't realize the specifics.
To count, it would need to appear in the book link. (There are no parentheses on the book cover either.)
Also, you have not linked to your review. I just added the "how-to" to the challenge rules. From your "read" bookshelf, you chose "view" in the far right column. This will take you to the URL of your review. On your next entry, you can add the URL for this book and the points will be added.
Congrats on being first on the board with 7 points !

No problems - Thanks for the clarification on the parentheses.
Could you please tell me if I have added the link correctly below?

I do need the URL. Haven't linked a review before.
Sure. If you go to the book page, you'll see the section with your review, and in the beige header you'll see the words "My Review". You can either click on that, and get the URL out of the address bar on the review page, or right-click on "My Review" and select "Copy Link" (It might say "Copy Link Location" or "Copy URL" or something similar in the menu.)
Once you have the URL, just come back and post it here, either by editing your previous post, or make a new one and just let JoLene know that it's the review for Tumbleweeds.

There are also instruction in the rules which tell you how to get to it from your read bookshelf.

Thank you for scoring the challenge this month. The point I claimed was not for the time period, but for a January event/politics:
January Event: In honor of the inauguration day (Jan 20) - Read a book featuring politics
To Kill A Mockingbird featured the politics and racial tension of a small town in the south during the 1930's.=>1pt
It was a long post and 1930's ran over to the last line. I mentioned 1930's because it was pre-civil rights movement, a time of the Jim Crow laws, and racial tension. May I have my point back please?
