Deedee | 96 comments Here is the order in which you will read your alphabets (ORDER being the operative word – you must do the tasks in order):
1. Author’s last name.
2. First word of the Title (exclusive of words such as a, an, the, etc.)
3. First name of the author.
4. Setting by country.
5. Author’s country.
6. Main character’s name (either first or last).
7. A combination of the above tasks but in your favourite genre!
(For example: If your favorite genre is mystery, your list may start with The Anatomist's Wife, Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, by Alan Bradly, Venom's character Cassandra Caravello, etc.)

8. If you finish 7 alphabets, you may start back at task number 1 and rotate through the tasks a second or third time, as many times as you want.

Deedee | 96 comments Janice wrote: "What did you think of Sharp Objects Deedee?"

The first half was offbeat and edgy, with our recovering-addict heroine going back to her hometown. It held my interest and I was hoping for a good result for the heroine. I didn't really care for the second half --- I'd call it "non-supernatural horror" rather than "mystery". To be honest, if I knew how it was going to end, I would have skipped this one.

Janice (jamasc) | 59889 comments Yes, the ending was a little out there and certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. But, overall, I really liked the book.
