2. The Origins of Tolkien's Middle-Earth for Dummies I have been picking through this a little at a time for quite a while now. It is a very good companion to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. The author discusses everything from the geography and languages of Middle-earth to the themes of the books and the differences between the films and books.
3. A Storm of Swords Sweet Jesus! I finally finished! I love these books. I love how realistically the characters are written. I love the complex stories and how they are all starting to come together...but, good grief, these books are a bit of a mountain to climb.
4. Reached Decent ending to the trilogy.
5.Born Good book but very sudden ending.
6. UnEnchanted
7. Reckless MagicGood story...needs editing.
8. Hopeless Magic
9.Fearless Magic I need a break from this series. I liked it a lot and it had taken a turn that I really liked...but now I am starting to feel like it is veering back in the other direction and that has made me leery of continuing.
10.Requiem I really liked this series...and even this book right up until the end. The end really left a lot to be desired. I get leaving things open for the reader to decide how they turn out...but there really was just NO resolution at all. As a person who spent so much time on this series, I really feel like we deserved more.
11. Scientists Who Study Fossils
12. Ellis Island
13. The Last of the Dinosaurs
14.The Jurassic Dinosaurs
15.The Usborne Book of Peoples of the World: Internet-Linked
16. Clockwork Princess This book was SO good. The epilogue is possibly to most bittersweet thing that I have ever read.
17. The Great Gatsby I am clueless as to why I am just now reading this...such fantastic writing.
18. The Best Book of Weather
19. The Elite
20. Born to Fight
21. Great Expectations Due to the uncontrollable circumstances that life sometimes throws my way, this took 4 months to read. I enjoyed it....but I'm glad I'm finished with it.
22. The Fault in Our Stars Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
23. The Vespertine I really liked this book. It had all of the best elements of a good historical fiction with an original paranormal twist that drove the plot. I look forward to the other two books in the trilogy.
24. Geography for All Seasons
25. The Fall of Five
26. Dollhouse This book was seriously creepy and had a pretty original plot. I definitely look forward to the next few books.
27. Hidden
28. Lonely Souls
29. Branded I enjoyed the plot of this book but there just felt like something was lacking the ENTIRE time I read it.
30. Tell Me, Tree: All About Trees for Kids Just something I read to my 2nd and 3rd graders while teaching about different forest biomes.
31. Endless Knight I love this book. I love this series. I hate the fact that I have to wait God knows how long until the next one comes out.
32. Stardust This was a re-read. Still LOVE it!

I sure would like to hit that again...but this year is starting out to be very stressful. I think I set my goal for 80 but I will move it up if need be. I feel like I am starting off so slowly because I am reading a 1000+ page book right now and I am just plodding along.
