Betty True, Judy, I was thinking about more seaside summers, mountainous falls, winter's deserts, and springtime plains to escape for a little adventure.

Betty 4. Sweden. Stillness of the World Before Bach: New Selected Poems
http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

One of the briefer poems to fit into a few lines:

"The Cherry Tree" by Lars Gustafsson
One night of sudden storm
the cherry tree fell
and when crest and trunk and twigs
had been pulled apart, set aside
the last cherries glowed
in the grass, random as they fell.
Nothing special about them,
no special taste or quality,
except they were the last.

Betty 18. Japan The Box Man

More surrealistic literary novel than the more well-known The Woman in the Dunes. The second half makes worthwhile the uncertain identities and events in the first half. Also in the second half, Abé exemplifies the all-over artistic person he was. Look for strange viewpoints from the author, things that escaped such interpretation and even such possibility.
