Did any of you set reading goals for 2013? My goal is to read 52 books! I had the same goal last year but missed it by 25 :( I sucked at the beginning of the year and found myself playing catch up! I hope I can do it this year. It breaks down to a book per week.

Mia Darien (mia_darien) I set the same goal for 2013 as I had for 2012, which was/is 100 books. I was two books over last year, but have so much going on this year, I worry I may not make it! ^_^

I totally know what you mean! It amazes me when people read in the triple digits! :) Congrats on making your 2012 goal, that is aweeesommeee!!

Thomas Hay (wwwthomaslhaycom) | 36 comments I would have to give up fishing and golf and writing to read even 20 books. Of course being from Missouri, winter time is reading and writing time.

The Pirate Ghost (Formerly known as the Curmudgeon) (pirateghost) My goal is just to count the books I'm reading. I can't remember them all.

I'm getting to that age where I have to dump something out of my brain to fit something new in... and I'm a mental Packrat... so it's hard for me.

My father was an architect who worked with young students. When he was in his earlier eighties, one student was notably impatient while my father tried to recall something specific about his mentor, Frank Lloyd Wright. The young man snapped his fingers. My father looked at him and said, "It's easier to remember things when you don't know anything."

Just look at it that way :)

The Pirate Ghost (Formerly known as the Curmudgeon) (pirateghost) Wow, a little snapping gets a snappy comeback!

Christopher Meeker (christophercmeeker) | 9 comments My reading goals for 2013 are simple. I'm going to support my indie author family by buying and reading indie titles only. I feel it is paramount that we support one another. Not only with words but with our wallets as well.

W.H. Cann (wh_cann) | 1 comments I've set a goal of 26 books for 2013. It doesn't sound many, but for me it will be a lot. It was difficult finding the time to do everything in 2012, and it was my reading that suffered. Not this year.
Good luck to you all!

Ditto..right on.A little slap on the back can do wonders!

Judy Goodwin | 8 comments I agree that life, work, and writing take up most my time, so I've set a goal of 25 books, which for me is very good. I read probably about that many last year, but didn't track all of them through Goodreads.
