Katherine (Kat) Nagel (katnagel) Choosing 24 books isn't easy. I have over 600 on my TBR shelves. Some I purchased new over the years, some I rescued from trash bins, some I found in thrift shops and library book sales.

My GoodReads TBR Challenge shelf currently has 19 titles that I had previously entered into My Books/to read:

I'll choose five more from my physical TBR shelves and enter them into GoodReads when I get a chance.

The list is complete, now, and I've added my first review!

Every Thanksgiving week-end, I spend the time sorting through my books, scanning in purchases, picking books for challenges and drafting up tentative reading schedules. Right now, I have about 525 books on my goodreads TBR list, most acquired like yours: from sales, bins, exchanges, yard sales, etc. mixed in with new purchases. This year I'm tackling some of the books by choosing the oldest cataloged books on my list and also by using a random number generator (random.org) to pick a number that I then match up to the goodreads list. I've been terrible about writing review, but much better about writing comments in the books I've been reading :-)

What was your first review?

Katherine (Kat) Nagel (katnagel) My first review was H.G. Wells' "A Modern Utopia." http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

My whole list is at

I'm way behind where I expected to be by the middle of March, since I keep getting distracted by new books, and the books selected for the three reading clubs I belong to! I've finished #1 and #3, and am currently reading #2.
