The 104 Book Challenge - 2013 discussion

Here's what you need to do to begin the challenge:

1. Start a topic in the group to document your progress. Here's how to create your own topic:

a) In the "discussion board" header, you'll find
some topic options. Click on the "new" link to
create a topic of your own.

b) Give your topic a title. Use your name
somewhere in the title so that it is clear
whose discussion that particular thread
belongs to. No need to select a folder to post
your topic into.

2. Post a comment inside your discussion to document each book you've read. At a minimum, please include a number to indicate what book # of the year it is, the title and author. It is helpful if you post a link to the book and/or author by clicking on the "add book/author" link located at the top of the comment box in which your entering your comments.



3. Repeat Step 2 often. :)

Oh! And be sure to make a post in the "Introduce Yourself!" topic. We'd love to know a bit about you!

Do mangas as in japanese graphic novels count?

Yeah, I'd love a ruling on that, too. I will say that I count them for my middle schoolers' book reports on a four to one basis. (That is, four volumes of manga count as one entry). I'd certainly up my numbers if we count manga!

Manga totally counts, too. :)

So if manga counts would you count comic books as well. I wouldn't count a serialized single comic as 1 book, but a collection book I would count.
