I might take the ghost....What is her function in the story? Like, do I slay people often?

Well the ghost pretty much just hates humans and wants to be left alone. But people keep invading her personal space. So it decides to have some fun with them--because, as a child, it needs to play--and usually her playing ends up killing the victims. He/she is kind of like a cat. Plays with its food before it eats.
If you're wanting to do execution like deaths, you're welcome to it. That'd be up to the creator of the ghost.

Its about a small town where evil is every where. It was beyond scary to play as a child... still makes me a bit nervous....

Can I take the weekend to think about it? I'm starting up two roleplays with my writing group, so it might take a little bit to think through the character.

But it's better. Muahahaha.
On the edge of town, a few miles into the forest, lies an old library. It appears to be crumbling and falling apart but at the same time strangely stable. Other abandoned buildings lie scattered around, indicating the remnants of a small town.
The library is huge, but abandoned. That doesn't stop the reckless population from attempting to enter.
Most, they just die, right there at the entrance, their souls leeched from their carcasses, which simply disappear. Sometimes they reappear off in the forest, flesh ripped from bone like an animal tore into it. Sometimes they don't appear at all. The police have long since learned to ignore cases involving the Library. The best they can do is warn people never to enter.
There are a few who initially live. They're kept alive, albeit barely in some cases, to be playthings for it, forced into awful 'games' only it would enjoy. Its minion participates on occasion, a lifeless husk of a girl simply waiting to really die.
The goal? Escape. Alive.
And without it noticing.

I thought we should do a horror roleplay. Because it's January. And you are dark people. So you'll probably love it. There are a few notes:
-'It' is a ghost. I always imagined it to be a small child, because that's always creepy. It can be a boy or a girl, but whoever it is died there in the library.
-One of you guys gets to be it. And that one person will be whoever puts up the character sheet for it too. I want a detailed backstory of how he/she died, a scary alias, and anything else you think your ghost will need. I'll give you a hint. It can make illusions, cause pain, and general bad things to happen. It's a scary ghost, not the Wizard behind a curtain. I'll do it if you guys make me, but I'd rather leave the freedom up to you guys. Just because I made this up doesn't mean I get to be the boss of it.
-This library is huge. Because of the powers and illusions caused by it, it's much larger on the inside than the outside. It's very difficult to map out the place because it always seems to be changing. Only it and his/her minion know their way around. It's dark in there, and confusing, and there are books everywhere. Some don't even have words on them. Some are scribbles written by It. Whatever It wants, it is. Also, when I say huge, I mean huge. (:
-There are no outside doors and no windows. Once you enter, the door disappears behind you. You're then stuck forever--if you live--to try and find the exit. Good luck. Food randomly appears as does water, so you're not going to starve.
-It isn't always there. It will come and go from your presence, so the victims here will have breaks between torturing games. The games can involve anything from 'Let's push people down the stairs and whoever breaks the least amount of bones wins' to 'let's play jumprope with your entrails'. Whatever It can think of. (:
-If more than one person want to make a scary ghost It person, feel free to make the character. We'll have a poll if we have to in order to decide. No worries.
