(shoos away crickets)

So, StoryBundlers, what's next for you?

I'm going to publish Disciple, Part II. I'm running a Kickstarter project to pre-sell copies and support the production costs. After that, I'll start prepping Part III for publication.

How about you?

Jessica (jbaby) I haven't read any of books from StoryBundle yet. I'm finishing a series before I start StoryBundle. I have bought every StoryBundle except for Second Degree. I'm not a mystery/crime/thriller kind of girl. My mom is though so I had her buy it. Between the two of us we've purchased every bundle. When I finish the Heku series then I'll start the first Bundle. I'll be sure to check out your Kickstarter.

tivasyk | 16 comments would be great if group moderators populated the group's bookshelf with the storybundle's titles, grouped by storybundle issue… would be easier for passers-by to see what the group is about and find something to read, and for us to add latest additions to the to-read shelves =)

I agree with this. Also, this group seems kind of dead. Is it just that people are buying the bundles but just haven't read the books yet? I feel like this should be a place for StoryBundle buyers (and moderators) to talk about the books/authors featured in the bundles, but the design of the group might need to change a bit for that to happen. Showing what books are/were in the bundles in a start and allowing people to easily access them and talk about them would help things. Also, maybe a place to talk about and give suggestions for future bundles would be good (whether it genre, author, or even book specific).

can't say for everyone out there… i've bought three… no, four of the storybundles with intention to read it all sooner or later, but not in one go: since i've started studying french two years ago i try to read more in french lately.

however i've read 7 of the storybundle books (and abandoned one more) and mostly have been disappointed by the quality of it =/

i do love reading indie literature, but it has to be of the quality of jeff garrity's "mars girl", cory doctorow's "someone comes to town, someone leaves town" or peter watts' "blindsight".

of course i'm a rather poor judge since english is not my native language but still… retelling a third-rate horror thriller complete with all the hollywood clichés (the "black bird" in the 2nd degree bundle) is just not my piece of reading =/

coming back to the group being dead… looks like it is =( you ideas sound great, however i'm not a goodreads librerian nor the originator of the group; what can be done to revive or restart it?

Cyber Killer | 4 comments I bought 4 story bundles, but I read only 1 book so far (Taking on the Dead), however I was really satisfied with it. The quality was awesome. (I also read the Mighty Writers stories, but I won't be judging those.)

It could be that people haven't been reading the Storybundles they bought... or they didn't enjoy what they did read... it could be that they don't know this group is here...

The internet is a big place and life keeps people plenty busy.

In the meantime, I'll see if I can get the titles from my bundle onto the shelf here and I'll try to poke the other authors.

Search through goodreads listopia lists for 'bundle' - most bundles are already listed together for easy finding.
