In Bill Gutman's nonfiction biography book "Marion Jones: The Fastest Woman in the World", Marion Jones happens to be suffering some problems that is affecting her career on the track. Marion Jones was born in Los Angeles on October,12,1975. She grew up having some poverty problems. Marion had to go far for free education and her parents had to go far away too in order to earn more money for the family. Still, Marion managed through the tough times and got into some good schools. Over time as she was growing up, she was always good at basketball and track. Marion had made the teams and she was always the number one. Her height and hope helped her to success. Marion was playing basketball with a whole ton of points, assists, and rebounds. She was soon announced as the California State's best high school woman basketball player. Marion wasn't only the best basketball star, but also the best track and field star. Marion was not having trouble at all. She did have some devastating loses, but she was still the number one player. Marion had fight through everything. For example, she got into a very bad basketball accident once that destroyed almost every part of her, but she went through it and was back on the court in a short time. When Marion got even older, she started doing more track. Marion was racing everywhere all over the world later on. Marion was so busy flying all over the place that she ended up having no rest at all. On page 73 of the book, Bill wrote, "With her back still spasming, Marion cried in pain and wanted only her doctors to treat her." Then on page 73 ( Pages aren't right), Agent Charlie Wells said, "She's out of the championships. She still has muscle spasms in her lower back." That showed the conflict in the book so far. Marion had been injured and it affected her career in sports. Marion had no rest which caused the injury. This injury to Marion is just so important because the injury has ruin her chance of winning the championship and it might changed her actions in track. Marion is needing rest and nothing much can help. This problem changed her life as of now.
