If you could pick a book about any animal/s to be made into a movie, which book would it be?

The Other End of the Leash, as a documentary.

The Nine Emotional Lives of Cats, as an animated, musical, light romantic comedy.

Every other book I like that isn't a movie yet!

And I'm not going to hide it, when my books about animals are published I would love for them to be movies too! Well, actually all my books have stories about animals so really in a way they all would count for this question, but specifically I would love to see the stories that my current dog, rabbits, and the ones the horse I ride and the barns first barn cat helped create.

Now, you knew I was going to say that! I do actually hear the comment frequently when I'm doing interviews that it should be made into a Disney movie. So, I truly mean it. I think it would work. Would love to know what you think. Especially you, Jennifer - you've got a long list!

I haven't gotten a chance to read the book yet but based on the book's description it sounds like it could do really well as a Disney movie. I know I would want to see it! (And this is without having read the book, which is actually very common for me to watch a movie based on a book then go and read it. I know I do things backwards.)

"The Art of Racing in the Rain". They are supposed to be making it into a movie, but it seems to be taking forever.

I hadn't heard of that one being in the works for a movie, but the same thing is happening with two other animal books that they are supposed to be making into movies that I really want to watch: A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron, and The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein.

A dogs purpose and a dogs journey I LOVE those books!

I'm in talks right now for my own animal book to be made into a movie. The process itself has created its own movie-scene worthy moments.

The 80 dollar champion! I think Snowman should be a movie star! I have heard a production company has purchased the rights for it! I can't wait to see it!

I LOVED that book! I think it would make a great movie!

"The Loop" by Nicholas Evans. He also wrote "The Horse Whisperer" and I loved the book but didn't care for the movie at all. It was so different from the book and I didn't like the differences at all.
