the sound of Autumn A secret place deep in the forest outside of the district boundaries, where rebels come to rest, sleep under a roof, trade stories, plot schemes, and possibly get some medicine. Need a note to get passed to another rebel? Leave it here. Out in the cold on a rainy night? It may not be too warm here, but it's something.

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments All alone, huddled in the corner sat Candie Pastor. Her legs were pulled up to her chest, her body and head leaning into the corner. Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she tried to block out the noise of the others nervous but intense chatter. Few words were exchanged between herself and Spark when they had first collapsed into the shack. But as soon as footsteps were heard and the door had swung open, silence fell upon herself. Even when the people whom she had been told were her 'friends', she couldn't even look at them. Especially the young blonde girl, who had came in holding the hand of someone who looked similar to her, possibly a sister. She couldn't bring herself to look or speak to neither Spark nor Mo, for many reasons.

Spark. Spark Laylee. The girl who had showed her kindness when she was completely hopeless and lost. She had given her love and knowledge that no one else had, given her a believable story about her past. She had faced her fear of the dark with this girl, laughing at the nothingness and standing up to her fears. But then, Spark had left her there overnight, let her sleep a peaceful sleep, until she was rudely awakened by two guards. They had bound her and threw her back into a cell with the very people who kidnapped her. And when the noose was around her neck and she was inches from death, she saw Spark in the crowd, walking away from everyone like it was no big deal what so ever. But when the chaos had broken out, she was the one who suddenly had a change of heart and taken her to where she was now.

And then there was Modre. Mo, as what she had been by the girl herself, was supposedly part of the group that had killed her brother and mother, then kidnapped her just for the fun of it. They had beaten her and scared her, for no apparent reason, before the peacekeepers had come and found her at the brink of death. But that was according to Spark, who probably wasn't the most trustworthy person. The story that Mo and the rest of the group in the prision was that Candie had been apart of their group from the beginning. She had originally traveled around with Mo and Matt, later meeting up with all the others such as Xene and Isabella. They had done many things together, escaping the peacekeepers' grasp more then once. But they had gotten captured by the red headed peacekeeper at last, which she had seen Tristan fall to Mo's possible sister when they had been running out of town. They had been thrown into cells and beaten, as well as interrogated. Apparently, Candie had been used as an incentive for getting more information out of the rebels, electrocuting her multiple times before she had finally passed out from pain. And what Mo had told her is that she had forgotten all this because she had lost her memory from the shocks.

She tried to get all her facts straight as she shivered from fear in the corner. But she mainy thought about her mother and brother. Was it true that they were dead? It was the one thing that both girls agreed on in one way or another. Both had said that her family members were gone, which probably meant it was true. But the rest of the stories had nothing in common, completely different opinions of people and reasoning behind everything. Who was she to believe? The lying yet kind goverment Peacekeeper, or the accused kidnapper? She couldn't get it all straight.

As more people crowded in, the small shack became more and more stuffy and cramped. Most, whom she recognized from the cell room she had been in just before she had been brought onstage for the hanging. There were a few she didn't recognize, but she didn't even consider making an attempt to learn more about them. The only names she could put to faves were Spark, Mo, and Xene. Xene was the girl who had been in the interrogation room when she had been taken into there after she had woken up. The girl absolutly freaked her out. She had been yelled at the first time she had met her, and also the second time as well. And even though ahe was a girl, Candie had no doubt she could take out a full grown man with one arm tied behind her back. The rest of the people were complete strangers to her, and she decided to keep it that way.

So there she sat in the corner, refusing to look at anyone and too mad and sad to talk to any of them either. If someone came over and even said a word to her, she would just turn her head into the wall more and pretend like she didn't hear them. Most people would see this to be bratty behavior, something a child would do... But what else could you do when you were nine years old and being pulled in every direction possible?

message 7: by the sound of Autumn (last edited Jan 31, 2013 10:10PM) (new)

the sound of Autumn Maya and Xene had hobbled into the room, leaning and one another for support. Maya was still ghostly pale, partially in shock from everything that had just happened. Not only was the fragile beauty now covered in blood that was not her own, and had just witnessed more death in one day than she'd seen in her whole entire life, including a man she murdered in self-defense. Not only that, but she caught glimpses of Taylor being bludgeoned by a Peacekeeper, unable to do anything as the starved-looking Xene had urgently ushered her along. Now, she couldn't think about anything. Not a single thing. She just slid down against the wall, eyes wide and hands curled up tightly against her chest.

Xene collapsed as soon as she was able to, the adrenaline of, you know, almost being hanged to death and then chased down by an endless army of Peacekeepers, had begun to wear off. She gazed as her torn up, scabbed fingernails, thinking back to the panic attack that'd taken place in that god-awful tiny cell. At least she wasn't there anymore. She'd prefer death over being trapped in that concrete room like an animal, in her own personal little hell.

When her tired eyes had shifted over to Candie's trembling form, she could only muster up the smallest, most exhausted-looking of smiles. This girl had caused so much trouble- not that any of it was her fault. No, it was Spark's.

SPARK! She hissed and pressed herself up against the wall besides Maya as she looked at the blonde haired devil. Why was she even there?! Why had she saved Candie?! Had she been the one who delivered the cookies to their door? Had she been the one who jammed the levers at the execution, or made many of the guns un-usable? But why, why on earth would she help the very rebels who she'd captured in the first place?

Modre hung limply in Jake's arms, hardly half-conscious. Her heartbeat had slowed by dangerous amounts, the loss of blood making her already creamy skin paler than snow. She heard several different familiar-sounding voices as her drooping eyelids tried to fully close on her, like somebody hissing the word, "Traitor!" and somebody else saying, "Quickly! Lay her on the ground, put pressure on the wound! Mo, Mo baby, stay with me!"

She was spinning out of control though, her eyes finally falling shut as she was gently laid out on the ground, her limbs starting to feel numb. That was the scariest part of the whole situation; she was past feeling pain. She just lay there like a lifeless doll, only moving slightly when others forcefully shove down on her, acting like a small plug to stop the warmth from leaking out of her frail figure.

Silent tears had been pouring down Zelene's cheeks as she clutched tightly to her baby sister's hand, brushing the hair away from the small girls paper-white face as she tried to coo words of encouragement, as though they'd fuel her damaged sibling for just awhile longer. She was not aware of the small child lingering in the corner, the two young women against one wall, or a blonde woman who seemed to be quite the outcast there with her clean, healthy appearance. No, all Zelene could see was the love of her life and his brother desperately trying to sustain Mo's life.

"Why isn't this working?!" Jake heard his fiancee's frightened voice shakily ring out, hearing the quick, shortened breaths of panic after she had spoken.

"It is, she's just... she's lost a lot of blood already! There's a doctor, he's supposed to be coming..." he trailed off into a worried-sounding mumbled as he pressed down upon the gunshot wound as hard as he could, without squeezing the breath out of that poor small girl.

"You said that already!" Zee cried, the volume of her voice rising as the terror coursed through her.

"I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS!" Jake yelled back, immediately regretting the decision to snap at her. He tried to open his voice again to apologize, but a choked sob caught in his throat, causing him to have to snap his mouth shut and breath in deeply through his nose. It was only when he had to turn his head sharply to the side to avoid others seeing his watery eyes, when he saw Candie in the corner of the shack.

And he couldn't say one word to the girl. He knew how frightened she must be, with all these strange people who were broken, neaten, bloody, and starved. He knew how dreadfully frightened she had to be right there in that moment with not a soul to trust for sure, yet he couldn't utter a sound. What was he supposed to say? "Stay calm while I try to save Mo's life," was that it?

Where was Dr. Brise, they were running out of time!

Spark sat and watched with wide, eyes, trying to ignore the wild child's accusing glare as she sat closest to Candie. Dr. Brise was the one they were talking about, she'd run into him at the execution! He was helping the rebels no doubt, of course he was. Saving lives was in his nature, and why on earth wouldn't he do anything in his power to spare the lives of what he believed to be innocent children?

No, Spark corrected herself sharply with a sharp jerk of her chin. Not "believe to be," these kids are innocent. Well, most of them are. What I did, I did to save Candie. What I did, I did to save myself. That would be, if I was worth saving...

When her mind trailed off, she was left to look at Candie, the poor, scared girl who had no idea what was going on. Right in that moment, Spark had decided to never, ever lie to that child again. Her life had been ripped apart by forces she could not control, and now there she was, shaking, hungry, tired, and cold, in a small shack packed with confusing and bloody people who she didn't know a thing about. This mere child had been through more in the course of a month or so than Spark had in her entire life, and that was saying something.

"I'm so sorry," she whispered to the young one, taking a moment to swallow the painful lump in her throat. "Things will settle down soon, I promise."

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments ((Okay, here shall be my lame attempt to match that... ;D))

Matt's eyes were blurred with the confusion of the day, his pupils were dilated to nothing but tiny dots lost in the white of his eyes. He had stumbled through the forest with the others, never taking his eyes off of Mo. No that they had been the closest they had ever been to the brink of death not five minutes ago, he couldn't even to imagine loosing her again. They had made their way over tree roots and stumps while leaves fell of trees like it was just another casual day. But no freaking way was this day casually in any way. Who else could say that they had been hung, beaten, then escaped and caused an all out riot during the course of a few hours?

The door had been thrown open for him as his brother and friends stumbled through the opening carelessly. He had collapsed onto the floor and his knees gone weak as soon as solid-ish floorboards had been felt under his feet. Someone had moved him to the side in the chaos, no words being spoken because of the shock everyone was feeling. He had never been more exhausted in his short life. Him and his faithful friends had suffered so much together, gone through too much to name. But at this time, he was the most tired she had even been before.

And that's when he saw Mo. She was on her back with her eyes threatening to roll back in her head and her soul on the brink of spilling from her small form. He about died then and there, his heart stopping for a few seconds as he stared at her beautiful and torn up body. He silently crawled over to Mo, moving about as fast as a snail to get there but still knew it would be worth it. He put her shaky hand into his, bringing his forehead down to her hand and resting it on it.

He began sobbing, sobbing for his love. This couldn't happen, not now, not after all they had gone through together. They had just admitted their love for each other, just shown each other just how much they cared for each other, now the possibility of it all going down the drain was at their hands. "Please. Please no you can't do this to her." he said in a voice that wasn't audible, more of just a small breath of air traveling through his throat that happened to make a noise. "Please, please stay with me dear."

He placed his hand absent mindedly on her stomach, expecting to feel a stone cold body to match her face. But instead, he felt a gooey liquid that he was quite familiar with. He lifted his head ever so slightly just to make sure his assumption were correct, and that it was indeed blood. He cringed when he saw the red stain on his hand, feeling like he had been stabbed in the gut himself to see his love in pain like this. He began to shake, began to scowl. Who had done this to her? Who dared to put Modre through such pain? He would kill them.

Tristan. Oh yes that lovely red-headed girl who was nothing more then a pile of dead flesh to him now. She was just another dead person from the fight, someone that actually deserve to die. Not Mo. So since she was dead, Matt couldn't exactly kill her be because she was already dead... But there was another person, in this very room that had ben the first one to kidnap them, done all the horrible things right along side Tristan. A blonde girl, one that didn't seem to know her place anymore.

With teeth clenched to the point where he was sure they were going to snap, Matt hsed Jake's shoulder to hall himself to his feet, eyes latched onto Spark's 'precious' form that was trying to comfort Candie. He saw Xene's eyes locked on the girl as well, like a gun aimed and read to fire. "You." he said with a fire like no there in his eyes, his voice extremely close to the breaking point. "YOU!" he screamed at her, speechless as he stared at the girl, his eyes practically turning orange from how overheated his body was becoming.

And thats when he lunged. He jumped forward ontop of thw girl, screaming insults and other nasty words as he attacked her, scratching and pulling at anything he could latch his fingers around. He was goinging to destroy this girl. For Modre.

((Ill post for Candie after school!))

the sound of Autumn (( :O Well, I'll try my best to match that before I hurry off to bed! ))

"Shit," Spark breathed out in the split second before Matt launched himself at her, full-force with not a shred of strength reserved, or held back. The impact was almost immediate, it bony frame surprisingly knocking the breath from the Peacekeeper's lungs as the two of them tumbled to the dirty ground of the shack.

Now, Spark's initial reaction was to fight back. For a moment, her hands automatically flew upwards to protect her face and throat from the vicious lashings of this boy. But, something quickly came to the young woman's mind: Did she really deserve to fight back? After all that she had put these young children through, after all the suffering and pain caused to them under her will... who was she to try and protect somebody who would do that- even if it was herself.

No, she couldn't undo all the horrible, unspeakable things that she'd already done. What she could do though, was let these mistreated rebels for justice finally take their revenge on her. Spark didn't want to die, but she decided it really didn't matter whether or not she decided to live. She was stronger, healthier, and much more trained in combat than Matt was, and could flip him on his back at any time she desired. Maybe letting them kill her, though, was the best way to say she was sorry.

At first, Xene was delighted by the fact that Matt was finally going to shred this awful little witch to pieces. She derived the sickest pleasure as she watched with wide eyes and a practically salivating mouth as Matthew kicked, punched, clawed, and spat at the blonde woman who was still struggling a little beneath him. Since she was far too exhausted to join in herself, she found she could enjoy it just as much when she was simply watching the much dreamed of scene unfold before her eyes.

But something was wrong though. Something was very, very wrong. The blonde girl had gone almost completely limp beneath Matt's thrashing form, only moving here or there when a flinch or muscle-jerk-reaction was brought on from one of the blows. It was obvious that the young woman was still conscious though, Xene could see her squeezing her eyes shut and trying to turn her jaw only enough so a punch wouldn't land straight on her nose, and her fists clenched tightly by her sides as though she were simply bearing her punishment. But... why?

"MATTHEW, STOP!" she heard the other young woman, the one clutching to Mo's hand as though her life depended on it, while the boy who looked like Matthew (she assumed was his brother) had been too busy tending to Modre to do anything but grimace slightly and give the smallest shake of his head at his brother's rage-powered actions. The green-eyed girl could only spare a flying moment of attention to Matthew though, before she tore her eyes away back to Mo's wound, immediately rattling off different instructions to the Matt's brother.

"Stop," Xene agreed, though not with nearly as much emotion as Green Eyes had. She attempted to stand up on severely wobbling legs, failing once before finally mustering up enough strength to walk over to Matt and softly knee his shoulder. With narrowed eyes, she stared at the now pretty blood face of the unmoving blonde. "ook at her, Matthew, she's not even fighting you. She's not doing a thing."

She crouched down beside the Peacekeeper, a look of disgust on her face and a sour taste in her mouth by just being near the girl. Still, her curiosity kept her from joining in on the violence and kicking the wicked female's face in. She then switched her gaze to Candie, softening her eyes softly so she wouldn't frighten the girl anymore than she already had. Boy there was going to be a lot of explaining to do.

"Candie, did this thing save you?" she asked in a serious voice, jerking her chin towards Spark, who was still laying on the ground. She'd peeked one slightly puffy blue eye open, as though she was wondering why the ravenous beating had stopped so soon.

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments As Spark spoke a few words of reassureance to her, Candie couldn't even begin to consider that this was even partially true. Because it wasn't. The words that stung her the most were the words: I promise. I promise? I-freaking-promise? Who did this girl think she was?! Everything that she had been told by this girl so far was possibly a lie, and she thinks she has the right to get away with saying the words 'I promise?'

She barely glanced over at the fight between Spark and Matt, not even wanting to look at either of them at this point. They were both acting stupid at this time, and not to mention it was scaring her last bit of insanity right out of her. Yelling and chaos, thats what it all was right now to her. But the thing was, she didn't care. She didn't know these people. She didn't know why she was there. She didn't know a single freaking thing about what was going on in her life at the moment.

So as this madness went on. She slapped her hands over her ears, blocking out the noise and squeezing her eyes shut. She wondered painfully how much longer it would be until she would wake up from this horrible nightmare.

Matt was going at it hard, not slowing down for a single thing as he punched and kicked the snooty peackeeper with all of his might. The words spoken by Xene skimmed over his ears, not even really hearing what her or Zelene were saying. That was until he felt another sting in his back, knocking him off of Spark's body. The knee wasn't anything he couldn't take, but coming from one of his own, he knew he had to stop. He rolled onto the creaky boards, now breathing heavily once again as he laid on his back and stared up at the ceiling. His eyes immediantly teared up, but he wasn't able to do a thing about it.

He could now hear clearly, and could hear the chaos that his actions had brought to the already chaotic room. Xene once again questioning Candie, the sound of sobbing coming from somewhere on the other side of the room, and the sounds of the Hunger Games Victors as they leaned over a girl's almost lifeless body. But the one thing he didn't hear the the usual sarcasic and snippy remarks come from Spark's mouth. He relived their small quarrel in him mind and wondered, why hadn't she fought back?

Candie was trying to block out the noise that was happening around her, but it was almost impossible to do when she heard the air piercing words directed to herself from the girl named Xene. She slowly tured and opened her eyes, hands still over her ears though. You could immediately tell that he eyes were poofy and fresh out of tears. But she glanced at Spark, who now laid on her back at Xene's feet. Her firat though was that Xene had made the girl go down like that, but then she realized that Matt, the other boy lying on the ground had done so. But still, if Xene really wanted to, she could most likely do some serious damage.

Not wanting these people to hurt her more then she already had been, she answered in a voice that was almost to quiet to hear. "No. She didn't save me."

Matt quickly sat up and looked at the girl, his teeth barred again as he was ready to jump her again if need be. Looking deep into her Grey (?) eyes, he spoke with a calm yet forceful tone. "You are the rudest, most selfish, lying B*tch I have ever met. And you know what? I'm gunna kill you for what you have done to my friends. You have made us gone to the deepest parts of Hell and back just so you and your red-haired friend could have some amuzement." he paused to catch his breath, and only that reason. He was on a role. "And you wanna know what we did?!" his voice started to raise, his nerves running on end. With each word his voice increased with intensity. "We killed your little friend on our way over here!!! We killed her for what she did to us!!! Just like I am going to do to YOU!"

He again lunged for her, not aiming to be nice this time.

the sound of Autumn Spark winced at Matthew's stinging words, though they didn't surprise her. Not one bit. He wanted her dead? She understood that. Tristan had gotten herself killed? Spark felt a painful stab in the gut from just hearing the news, but sadly, she understood this too. Of course Tristan had managed to get herself offed, and Spark would bet that she was cursing and swearing vengeance up until the very second she died. Tristan had been just one of the many poisonous people in Spark's life though, and while it hurt to hear that one of her only friends was no longer walking this earth, it was... probably... for the better.

And it'd be for the better if Spark followed in Tristan's footsteps.

"Matthew, for cryin' out loud!" Xene shouted at him as the young boy began to wail on the former Peacekeeper again. Once more she shoved the frantically failing teen to the side, watching in disgust and amazement as the blonde just laid there and took it. She took every single punch, kick, scratch, everything. But why? Why would somebody who tried so hard, struggled for so long to capture and defeat the rebels... Xene knew very well what Spark was capable of. So why wasn't she using those skills?

The more she thought about it, the more unbalanced things felt. It was wonderful watching that witch, that monster, that thing get the beating it really deserved. But after all that everyone had been through, after all the bitter turmoil, sweat, and blood put into defeating the rebellion... why would Spark willingly throw that all away? Did she have a secret? Was killing her somehow going to work to Peacekeepers everywhere's causes? Xene had no clue, but what she was sure about was that something weird was going on here. Something too bizarre to let go unexplained.

"Matthew, I need help for just two seconds, please!" she heard the older green-eyed gal plead with Matt, Modre lying on the cold ground, nearly unconscious by this time.

"Go," Xene agreed, reaching down and yanking Spark into an upright position by the woman's shirt collar. Without breaking the piercing eye contact with that blonde-headed devil, she added to Matthew, "I got this one."

Zelene shook her head for a brief moment, before looking over her shoulder with an expression that looked burdened by a thousand different worries. If the doctor didn't come soon, Mo was gone. That was it. Gone. Her footsteps in the ground disappearing, making it as though she never even existed in the first place. She couldn't go though, she was Zee's sister, her best friend! After the fight to survive in order to see each other again, Zelene couldn't let her sister out of her grasp again. Not when the two girls had come so far.

(( Kk, so we need doctor Brise to come around, and like... now. I'm thinking that he and Zee will be in the shack performing emergency surgery on Mo, while the rest are forced outside. There they will kind of talk to each other and sleep against the shack, giving them time to collect their thoughts, share stories about the real truth, etc, etc. ))

Matt was roughly thrown off again, his shoulder hitting the weak wall with a thump, his body stopping immediantly. All the energy drained out of him in that one moment, relaxing almost to the point of falling asleep right there. And he may have if it wasn't for the sight of Mo lying motionless on the ground near him. Giving Spark one more evil look, he scoote himself closer to her and took her free hand in his own, trying not to let his salty tears land on her skin. It didn't matter how many scars and cuts she had, she was still perfect anyways.

"Stay with us Modre. Please." he closed his eyes and bowed his head over her. "Be strong babe." he promised right then to himself that he would never put his guard down around Spark, never.

Candie couldn't do much more then sit there with her eyes squeezed shut and her hand pressed over her ears. She couldn't bear to look at the fighting or the dying girl. She couldn't listen to their arguing and crying, just couldn't do it.

She wanted to run, but where to? She could go home... Oh wait. They were dead... She could go to the government... Oh wait, they tried to kill her..,. She could stay here.,. But they were a bunch of lying, crazy, criminals.... What was she supposed to do? In her mind, there was only one option left... alone.

Within a split second, Candie was up on her feet and flying over people for the door. She grabbed onto what was left of a handle, twisting it and throwing the door open, hitting someone that was sitting behind it. Her little feet took off for the woods, moving as fast as they could without stopping.

((Someone can either grab her, chase her, or just let her go!))

the sound of Autumn Xene's head whipped to the side as she watched Candie sprint towards the door, her now incredibly dirty hair flying behind her as she made her way to the door. The young thing practically had to jump over Mo as she tried to get to that rusted, squeaky exit as fast as she possibly could.

Knowing that Xene was just about ready to pass out due to fatigue and starvation, she was going to have to rely on somebody else to catch that panicked little blonde-headed creature if she didn't want her flying off into the forest with no idea of where to go or how to survive. Damn this kid was becoming a lot of trouble.

"MAYA!" she called immediately, throwing her pointed finger into the air in Candie's direction. Her voice was loud and urgent sounding. "Grab her, grab her! Now! Please!"

She watched with tired as Maya seemed to try to snap herself out of her glassy-eyed staring state, scrambling to her feet and running after the girl. Maya; stained with grass and blood and looking like a nervous mess. Still though, she was healthier and stronger than the original rebels of the group, looking like a glowing goddess next to the children forced to grimy ways of dirt and bone. Each one of them desperately needed food and a deep scrubbing.

As Maya, obviously being so much stronger than Candie, had little to no trouble bringing the struggling girl back into the shack, half dragging her as the child gave feeble attempts to fight. It was really no use though, fighting against Maya. It was a well-fed, well cared-for, regular district citizen against a small and badly bruised up girl. Not a fair fight at all, and it was a good thing too. What if Candie had escaped? She'd die in the wilderness, for sure.

Xene was in the middle of a sigh, her fingers still clenched tightly around Officer Spark's collar, when a familiar face came walking through the door.

Dr. Brise had been surprised when Candie had come sprinting off through the tall grass surrounding the shack, almost plowing into him full speed ahead on accident. Dr. Brise had simply side-stepped the young girl, avoiding bumping into her while still managing to catch her shoulder.

"Candie!" he'd said in a surprised voice, immensely relieved that she was alright. "You poor thing. What are you do-" It was then that he saw a young woman with dark brown hair running after her, eyes wide upon seeing the man so close to the rebel hideout. "It's alright, it's alright, I'm here to help," the doctor said, his voice friendly and calm to reassure the poor panicked thing. Blood clung to the woman's porcelain skin.

After guiding the clearly upset Candie into the arms of the dark-headed girl, Dr. Brise and Bluebell helped Ashton into the crowded shack. Immediately his eyes were drawn to the chaotic scene off to the left hand corner of the shack: a young girl laying in a small puddle of blood, pale and unconscious as three other rebels desperately tried to care for her.

"Doug!" he heard a voice he recognized, Xene's, call to him. "You're finally here!"

"Is that the doctor?" another girl's frantic voice rang out. Dr. Brise traced his eyes back to the source of the voice, a girl with messy blonde hair and big, slightly reddened green eyes looking at him with a face burdened by intense stress, and worry.

"What's going on?" Dr. Brise replied, his tone now low with concern as he set down his large medical bag that'd been packed to the brim with supplies. "I need you to tell me everything, quickly."

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments Candie's tangled mess of hair blew back behind her as she flew down the steps and brushed past the pair of people walking up. Great. More people to hate. she thought to herself as she attemped to run, but looked more like galloping in her state. Within no time, she felt a sufden jerk on her arm. Her legs kept moving as her upperbody came to a standstill, making her stumble a bit as the hand permanently latched itself around her forearm.

She kickled and grunted and struggled , none of her vain efforts helping her the slighest. Within another minute, she had been drug back up the steps and pushed lightly back into the room. When she was let go, she tried to dash again, but Maya's strong arm reached out and plucked her back before she even could make it out the door. Candie was quite mad at Maya now, automatically putting her on her 'bad' list.

Once she was back inside, Candie ran crying back over into 'her' corner, plopping down and started to ball into her hands. It was bad enough she had to be stuck with these people, but them practically keeping her here as a prisioner... That was just cruel! "Why wont you let me go?" she cried out through tears to anyone that would listen, hands still covering her eyes and face. "I want to go home!"

Matt didn't even feel Candie Kick him in the back ad she scurried out the door. He was too focused on mumbling words of encouragement to Mo, begging for her to hold on and stay strong. Her face, oh god her face was something that would bring tears to almost anyones eyes. She looked like death, which was close to being true. But she had to hold on, had to. Matt didn't think he could go on without her. She was holding him down to earth at this very moment.

Matt praised, well, whoever, as the door swung open and the town docter walked through like an angel down from heaven. He started to cry, dropping his shoulders as a weight was lifted off of his shoulders. Dr. Brise was probably the only one in district 7 that would know how to handle a situation like this, and possibly be able to save her life. "Mo. The docter is here. He is going to fix you up and your going to get better. Better in no time."

Lightfeather ☼☺♥ (lightfeatherbethany) | 1141 comments As Bluebell stepped into the cabin behind the doctor, the terrible smell of blood and dirt washed over her. She stood stunned in the doorway, slowly taking in the desperation around her. Everyone looked battered and grimy, like they rolled around in a mud hole. A small group of people huddled in a corner around a pale girl who didn't stir. Another, wild-haired girl was standing threateningly over a blonde woman. And a child, probably no older than 10, struggled to run away. Bluebell didn't blame the girl. She felt the sudden urge to turn and disapear into the forest.

As Doctor Brise moved towards the injured girl on the floor, Bluebell stayed huddled besides Ashton, partly to comfort her friend but also to stay away from the rebels. She might have run away from her life in the city as well, but she was not like them. Not this crowd. And she knew the others knew it too. So she stayed close to Ashton, pulling her knees to her chest, and watching Dr. Brise work.

the sound of Autumn Jake listened as his fiancee turned to the doctor, her green eyes slightly red and puffy from the tears, and her voice strained, but urgent. She spilled every little detail she could to Dr. Brise, while Jake stayed silent and continued to put pressure on the little girl's room. Such a bizzarre thing it was, to see this small girl he'd used to know as a lively, bright young gal who was always giggling, reduced to a near lifeless little pile of bone and flesh before him. Nearly all the color had drained from her face, the blood staining her skin sticking out like dark horrible stains on silk. It soaked her now muddy brown, torn night dress, the same one she'd probably been wearing for weeks.

"Alright," Dr. Brise had said when he believed he'd heard enough. The situation was dire indeed, and time was running away like... well, rebels from their cruel fate. It was dreamlike, really, seeing these previously pretty well-known and well-liked children now forced to refuge in the forest, wounded and scared like tortured animals. But Brise couldn't let himself think right now, oh no. Now was the time for action.

"Alright," he repeated, though now speaking more quickly and assertively." He yanked off his coat, laying it over a splintering table that'd obviously been crippled and then repaired countless times. Already he'd begun setting up his tools, grabbing up a cleansing wipe- a rarity in the district saved for only doctors- and vigorously scrubbing his hands and the arrangement of needles, scalpels, and more. "I need you all to clear out, except for one of you. Jake, here please."

Jake gave a curt nod, gently lifting Mo up and setting her onto the table, careful not to knock over any of Brise's surgical utensils.

"Zelene, you are fairly acquainted with the medical practice as I remember, yes? I need you to tend to young Miss Ashton's leg and others' wounds outside the shack. Take what you need from my bag. I assume you know what to do."

Zee was the one quickly nodding this time, taking only a few seconds to select the necessities from Dr. Brise's bag before turned quickly on her heel, her features tight with concern. "Come on," she murmured to Ashton, assisting her out of the shack with Bluebell- a girl she'd recognized but never really been friends with.

Xene watched for a few moments as Dr. Brise immediately went into work mode, unable to help a little bit of a smile from spreading onto her lips. A rush of relief flushed through her whole entire body, warming her with the feeling of hope that she'd not felt in so long. Finally somebody here who knew exactly what they were doing.

After hearing his orders, she gave darting looks between the still hardly moving Spark and quietly furious Candie. With a mental huff of breath, Xene figured her bruised and dirty appearance would probbaly scare Candie, so she jerked her head towards Maya. "Could ya help Candie?" she asked in a quiet voice. Of course, Maya obliged, stepping over to Candie. Xene couldn't hear exactly what was being said, but Maya had murmured softly to the young girl and slowly took her by the hand, carefully leading her to the door.

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments Matt barely heard the door swing open as the doctor shuffled into the room ready to save poor Mo's life. He stood by her side as they lifed her up and put her on the table, holding onto anything he could of her; her hand, her head, her clothing. He didn't want to let her go through her operation, but knew that soon he would be kicked out soon enough.

He gave her hand one last squeeze before someone ha latched a hand onto the back of his shirt, partially dragging him backwards out the door and away from the table that Dr. Brise was preparing. He stuttered out words of objection but none of it seemed to be forming into words or having any impact on who was taking him away. He looked with tears eyes on his ghostly white friend before the door was shut and he was stuck outside with the rest of his companions.

Staring like he was at the crummy wooden door that was in front of him, most people probably though he was a lunatic to stare at a door like so. He couldn't even think about his brother being back, or that the very peacekeeper that caused all of this was standing right behind him. He could only wait now, only wait for her to come out and be safe.

Candie watched with fury and rage as her questions were once again thrown out like they were nothing more then the trash that she was. She turned away in frustration and put her hands against the crumpling wall as she tried to not cry again. This was not happening. Not to her no it wasn't.

As the docter came in with the girls, whom she barely gave a glance to. She had seen him once or twice before, but never gave any notice to him. But she did recognize him as being a docter, which made sense when she saw him take over the situation with ease and bring a calm aroma into the room. And his calming presence was probably half of the reason that Candie took Maya's hand when she walked up to her.

At first, Candie had scrunched up her face when Maya had walkes up to her, scrunching back like a scared little dog. She stayed still as Maya leaned in and softly whispered in her ear, her warm breath tingling her ear. "I soory about bringing you back into here, but there may be something dangerous like bears in the woods... You know, its a lot less crowded outside. I can take you out and show you how to build a fire. It will scare those bears right off."

Candie glanced up at Maya's big, brown eyes. Trying to judge if she was being genuine or not. Judging by the smile she was getting and the kind-vibes she was recieving, this girl was pretty cool. At least, better then lying Spark or, the girl who was scary as hell, Xene. And who knew, maybe she would get an opportunity to sneak away while she was out there. Reluctantly, she put her hand out into Maya's, and was allowed to be led out of the shack. Glancing one last time back at the girl on the table, she sent good wishes in Modre's direction, just because she didn't want to see any more death.

Lightfeather ☼☺♥ (lightfeatherbethany) | 1141 comments Bluebell followed as the crowd of rebels shuffled like the undead into the woods outside. Their eyes were glazed and they hardly spoke. Only a few gathered into groups, the rest choosing to sit by themselves. Part of Bluebell wanted to slip into the darkening trees, but she needed to be around people. She had never been the "lone-wolf" type. Meeting new people and talking with friends were what made her happy.

So, she followed Ashton outside, asisted by a blonde girl about her own age. Hadn't Dr. Brise called her Zelene? The two of them practically carried Ashton to a tree, propping her up with the bark at her back. Bluebell then sat crosslegged next to the girl, looking to Zelene for guidance. "Is there anything I can do to help?" she questioned heasitantly.

the sound of Autumn (( Okay, so I won't rp any scenes with Jake, Dr. Brise, or Mo right now because they're going to be in surgery for like an hour. So, let's get to the delicious parts then! ))

Zee took a few deep breaths before answering Bluebell, trying to calm herself down. Still, concern remained written all over her face, despite her best attempts to focus on the matter at hand. "It's not too bad. This part is easy, it's the keeping the wound clean and uninfected that's the hard part," she explained to Bluebell, already busily at work on Ashton's leg.

The muscle and regular tissue of her leg took the most damage, thankfully, leaving her bone pretty much unscathed. Still, it would take a bit of training before Ashton could walk without trouble again- something she shouldn't really try until Zee was convinced the muscle had healed itself up nicely.

"This is gonna sting..." she cautioned Ashton, pausing right above the wound with the alcohol wipe to look up at Bluebell. "You can help actually," she said. "She might be tempted to kick or twitch. Just a knee-jerk reaction to pain, but I'd prefer not to be kicked in the face or gut while I'm trying to put this all back together. Could you hold her please? Just pressure down on the thigh, so she can't twitch or anything."

Meanwhile, Maya had turned to the other rebels, trying to offer her help. She shoved all the images of Taylor's death out of her mind, shutting her mind down almost completely.

Nothing happened, she thought to herself. Wishing it was true so hard that it started to convince her. Taylor's alright. He's waiting in the town for me. We'll get this all sorted out. I'll do what I can here, then I'll go back to the town, and things will continue on. Nothing happened. Nothing happened.

"I think I hear a stream nearby that you could, um, wash in..." Maya suggested to the dirty creature that refused to let go of the familiar, blonde-headed woman who Maya had recognized as a Peacekeeper. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the young child squirming slightly. Maya turned to her and made the same suggestion. "Would you like to wash off?"

"Ohhh no!" the bone-skinny rebel had replied, snarling as she replied to Maya but kept her eyes on the former Peacekeeper. "We need to get the truth out, and we are gonna get it out now! Candie," she jerked her chin to look at the little girl, visibly trying to soften her features if even just a little bit. "You want to know what's really happened, yes? Right?"

Candie had been taken outside by Maya, then let go of as soon as Maya guessed she wouldn't run off again. She had made Candie promise not to run away if she let go of her hand, but Candie had doubt that her 'staying' wouldn't last long. Candie had migrated to lean againt the tree closest to the shack, also close to being in the middle of the group of rebels, so she couldn't sneak away even if she tried. She had dropped down against the trunk and had begun to tear of little pieces of the bark with her fingers, giving herself something to do while she though up a plan.

She glanced up as Maya asked her about going to a stream, nodding her head without thinking, figuring that it would both give her a chance to clean up, but also possible a good break away time. But then loud mouth Xene had to break back in and ruin it again for her. She just had to say no and bring up whatever they were calling it... Her 'lost memory' or something crazy like that. Well, to be honest Candie didn't really appreciate that, so instead of answering Xene's question, she just looked at her, making eye contact for a moment, before looking back down at the strip of bark she was fiddling between her fingertips.

Matt just continued to stare at the door, not moving off the 'porch' out front of the shack. His eyes and feet were both glued to certain spots, and probably would only be move away by force. He wasn't 100% sure why he was just standing here like this, but it was like he was ina trance, deep within thoughts and trying to think through this whole mess. But thankfully, finally he set down on the two steps that led down into the leaf covered ground, his head slighty bowed and twiddling his finges together as he waited for that door to open and the 'all-good' signal was given.

the sound of Autumn Xene sighed at Candie's reaction, and gave a slight shake of her head. Mo would be able to deal with this. Mo had always been the best with Candie. Never harsh and always gentle, Candie would always listen to Modre, and usually with an expression that was like the little girl was hanging onto every word that came from Mo's mouth. But this was something of a new Candie, one who had not yet remembered the friendships she had developed, nor the enemies who sought to tear her down. This Candie was confused and hurt. This Candie was not going to be any easier to work with than the last.

"Go ahead, Spark," Xene said, her voice now softened slightly. Her body was beginning to shut down a little, fatigue, sleep-deprivation, and hunger beginning to overwhelm her senses. Still, Xene had just a bit longer to hold in there. She wanted to be well awake when Spark unraveled her own lies. And if she didn't? Xene would have no problem "persuading" her.

Spark's nervous gaze darted over to Candie, who's very position on the ground racked Spark's body with shame, and guilt. All she could think when she looked at the small, broken and beaten girl was, I've done this. I've done this. I've done this.

"Candie," she said in a quiet voice, her eyes drifting off to look at the ground as her head just barely began to hang. She looked like a young child herself, admitting her crimes to Mommy and Daddy. Though Spark didn't just steal a cookie from the cookie jar. She ruined lives. "Your mother and father were killed by your father, an abusive alcoholic. We found their bodies, and your father..." Spark bit her lip for a moment, leaving out that he'd committed suicide long before the Peacekeepers could arrest him.

After a long and dreary sigh, Spark continued along with her truths, which were now a steady river flowing from her mouth. It's like she'd kept the truth like water in her lungs, slowly drowning herself, knowing full well that she'd done all of this to herself. Now she was coughing it back up, and in the must painful way, it felt like she was being rescued. Rescued from herself.

"It is suspected that you and Modre Oci, as well as Matthew Wood joined up and escaped the borderlines. All three of you had come from broken homes, Matthew's father also a suspected abuser, and Modre's sister off to the Hunger Games while her father had passed away not long after."

Somewhere in the background, Zee's breath could be heard catching in her throat. She didn't seem to stop working though.

"Later on you joined forces with Xene, an escapee we thought died long ago. Along the way you were captured, escaped due to a break in we've yet to fully solve, evaded capture and were, of course, captured again. During interro- erm, when we tried to get stuff out of you," Spark said, trying not to use too big words that Candie wouldn't understand. "You were shocked. Badly. You forgot your memory, and I..."

Something caught in Spark's through too, tears stinging fiercely at her eyes. She could feel the eyes of the dark-haired town girl, Candie, and Xene on her. There was no doubt that the others in the background were listening too. "I used that. I tricked you. I made you think that you were on our side. I made you think that you were friends with the very people who hurt you."

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments Candie sat 100% still, not even lifting to her to look at Spark for even a moment. The truth... What she had finally wanted to hear. But now that it was out, how in the world was she supposed to trust it? She began to listen to the facts as they spilled out.

First of all... Her family. Dead. They were dead!!? She had already heard this once before from other sourses, which most likely meant that this part was true. But how could this have happened? Her father never drank more then a glass of alcohol because he was afraid of loosing control, which was exactly what happened. So they were all gone, and she was an orphan? No. It wasn't possible.

Then onto her so called 'companions.' Modre, who she had been introduced to as Mo, and Matthew, or Matt. She had seen then both in the cells, actually been in a cell alone with Modre for quite some time. Her memories about them went as far as that point. She remembered nothing about what Spark said they did. Never remember 'escaping the district' or 'running from the goverment'. None of that made any sense to her. Why would she go off with complete strangers like that and leave her home and family? Especially, why would she leave and go with these people of them all? And then Xene? The only one who seemed to continuously snap at her like an irritated dog? Candie couldn't believe that she had also been traveling with a person like her. The two were total opposites of eachother. A gruff and ruff forest dwelling girl that had seen it all snd stolen it all. Or a young city girl who had been sheltered all her life into thinking there was no crime in the world?

Then the truth about her relationship with Spark. So it was all a lie. All a freaking lie?! None of the semi-sweet geatures that had been given to her in the time that they were in her 'room' had been genuine? It couldn't be true! She had though that Spark actually somewhat cared for her, and now to hear that she was just faking when she was comforting her! It filled Candie with Rage. Now she understood why that boy, Matt, had lunged at Spark like he did. He hated Spark, just like Candie now did.

But if she hated Spark so much... How did she know these words could be trusted? How did she know that the so-called truths were'nt just more spoonfed lies?

Keeping her head looking at the dried up leaves on the ground, Candie took all of this in, not being able to sort truth from fib. It was all so much. It was like being handed a lifestyle out of a hat and told to live and believe it. Even when Spark talked about her deceased family, she made no movements, didn't even flinch. The only thing she did was unknowingly start letting tears drip down her face and land with a splat into the leaves below. And they continued to fall even after Spark finishes her monologue of truths and lies.

Squeeking it out in a high pitched voice that was clearly hurting, Candie tried to state her opinion in the mess of things. "How can I trust these things you have said if lied to me before this?" the hurt was clear in her voice, and the pain apparent in her eyes as she lifted her head to look into the peacekeepers eyes.

the sound of Autumn Xene felt her insides begin to melt for the poor confused girl. It was at this time that she realized exactly how scary she'd come off to Candie. The young girl couldn't remember the Xene that saved her life, the one provided the lost rebels with food, and shelter. No, the only Xene that Candie could remember now was the one that was scared, and hateful. The one that lunged at Peacekeepers, and snapped at her friends out of hunger pains. Xene was tired though, and starving. It was hard for her to be pleasant when she was about to pass out- unconsciousness edging closer and closer to her. She was surprised Matt wasn't out cold by now.

"Because it's true," she replied, her mouth pulled back into a tight, grim line. "Look, Candie, I'm..." Xene's eyes flickered briefly, threatening to close as she swooned slightly where she sat on the ground. Out of the corner of her eyes, she could see Spark furrowing her eyebrows in concern at her. "I'm really sorry, this shouldn't have happened to you. But you are not our enemy. Mo and Matthew have saved your life countless time. When this thing," she motioned to Spark, "put a tracker in your leg, I took you to Dr. Brise to have it removed so they couldn't capture you and your friends. Dr. Brise is the kind doctor taking care of Mo, he's our frie-"

She swooned again, this time stumbling back and having to use her elbow against a dry patch of grass to prop herself up. "Your fri-" She'd let go of Spark by now, her eyes only able to pen halfway. "Maya, could I have some help?"

Spark watched with a slightly worried expression as Xene's energy faded, leaving the starved, fatigued, and dirty girl passed out cold on the ground. With a sigh, SPark stood up, looking over to Candie and the girl she assumed was Maya. "Well, let's go get you and Xene here all washed up, okay Candie?" she said, pressing her lips together tightly when she began to think about what she was supposed to say to Candie. How she could even begin to explain that she really cared for the girl, after all the horrible, gut-wrenching things she'd done to her.

"I... I can't begin to tell you, I just..." Spark took in a deep breath, closing her eyes, lowering her chin, and shaking her head. "I'll explain when we get to the stream, let's just scrub that dirt off, alright?" She watched as Maya was the one to give her hand to Candie.

Spark looked over to the rest of the group, the one called Zelene, the mayor's daughter Bluebell, Matthew, and another face she recognized... wasn't that the girl they freed earlier? "You guys going to be okay here? We'll be right back." They all gave curt, silent nods without so much as looking at Spark. She could practically feel the disgust for her clumping up in the air, sticking to her skin.

He sat in this position on the steps, forcing his eyes to stay open and not to let himself pass out from the major exaustion he was feeling. Oh, how sweet it would be just to be able to relax all his muscles, let his eyelids droop down, and start to snore. It would feel like a heaven on earth if he could do that. But no matter how much he watnted to do so, he wanted to make sure Mo was alright first.

Matt couldn't rest until he knew she was safe and sound like she was supposed to be. He would have probably done the same thing for Candie of she was in the same situation, but obviously Candie was doing somewhat better then 'okay', and she didn't look like she needed any help from him.

As he sat there, he caught himself multiple times nodding off and his head falling between his hands that they were resting on. He would snap his eyes open and do his best to keep himself awake in any way possible. He would stare at a certain person, look up at the sky, then maybe move his foot around a little bit. He was doing all the simplest things he could to keep himself up for Modre.

Kåiłeē (kailee-one-who-hates-cheerios) | 2977 comments Candie's eyes shot over to look at Xene, who looked like she had been hit by a truck, an elephant, and a fully armed peacekeeper all at once. She couldn't bring herself to feel fully sorry for this girl. This girl wasn't the most likable acting girl, but at least she was trying to make some notion to be civil and caring. She had to respect that, but still didn't know if she could except it... Yet.

Then it was back to Spark, who disgusted her even more now that she knew what was supposedly the 'truth'. If she really was being truthful, then it was correct that she had been one of ones to capture most of this group of rebels. She had been the one to put most of them (if not all of them) through their very own versions of hell. She recalled the events that had taken place right after she had woken in the cell with Mo. She had been drug into the room where Xene, Spark, and the dead red-head had been in as well. Was it true all those things that Xene had shouted out about Spark? Candie was beginning to believe they were...

As she brought up going to the stream to wash up, Candie couldn't rufuse to that. Cleaning up and possibly getting the stench out of her dress sounded so sweet to her that she couldn't say no. Looking up to Maya's hand that was offered to her, she took it after a little bit of hesitation. The only reason she was comfortable with taking her hand, was because she was the only other one that didn't seem to know what was really going on. Plus, she wasn't throwing statements at her and telling her what to believe. So because of that, she reached up and let the girl pull her to her own weak feet.

Without looking at either of the girls (Xene and Spark), she continued to hold onto Maya's hand, pressing her body a bit into hers. She felt a little bit safer and more comfortable around Maya, plus, she was one of the only people there that had her full strength. So there she stood next to Maya, waiting for 'peacekeeper Spark' to make her next order.

Spark gathered Xene up in her arms, slinging the tall but very lightweight girl onto her shoulder, her bones poking at Spark uncomfortably. She didn't make a single grunt of complaint though, already moving forward to look for the stream. She looked down at Candie every now and then, knowing the child wouldn't glance at her back. It hurt Spark to see Candie beginning to slowly hate her, but she knew she deserved it. She deserved everything bad that could ever happen to her now.

This awkward sort-of quietness didn't cease even when they reached the stream. Spark couldn't help but feel a little pang of guilty self-loathing and sadness as she saw Candie allowing Maya to help her with everything. She couldn't blame the girl though, and she wouldn't be surprised if Candie couldn't ever trust Spark again. Spark wouldn't in Candie's situation. Still, that didn't mean Spark would stop trying to earn that trust back.

She could still remember how it felt, having Candie look to her with those big innocent eyes like nothing bad could ever happen as long as she was around. She remembered laughing at the darkness, teaching Candie to conquer her fears in order to be a little more independent. How could Spark even begin to explain that after all the lies and trickery... that that part was real?

As she set the still unconscious Xene by the side of the shockingly, beautifully clear-watered spring, she finally decided to open her mouth and say something. "Here we are!"

Okay, maybe not something really significant.

Maya, needless to say, was pretty uncomfortable in the position that she was. Well, she would be, had she not been going through sort of an emotional numbness. Despite her best attempts to convey different facial expression to come off as, well, a bit softer to the young girl she'd just met, it was hard for her. After all, it was quite possible that life as she knew it had just changed forever.

"You need any help?" she murmured to Candie, craning her neck sideways to scrub the blood and sweat in her hair. She watched as some of it washed away down the stream, while other droplets clung to her skin and dripped down the collar of her shirt.

Candie walked silently the whole way to the stream, keeping her eyes on her shoeless feet. They were not as dirty as some of the others, having taken a shower not long before she was thrown on stage like a cow. The shower reminded herself of cattle being prepared for slaughter, which wad pretty similar to what her situation had been. But it was different this time when they approached the stream. Every one of them there were different people then what they had been.

She let go of Maya's hand, her own now sweaty and clammy for holding on for so long. Slowly putting her toes into the water, she felt like the icy chill she got from the stream made her feel refreshed. Compared to how hot it was outside, even though the sun was close to coming down now, the water made her feel renewed. She hiked up her skirt and walked down a ways into the water, wiggling her toes in the pebbles on the riverbed. She splashed water on her face and scrubbed some of the blood and mud off of her small cheeks. She even wetted her hands and tried to use her fingers to comb the snarles out of her hair. Shaking her head to Maya's Question, she finished up feeling refreshed and much better then what she had. She walked out of the stream, walking up to a tree and leaning on it as she dried off and straightened herself out.

Glancing up, she saw Maya still in the stream, facing away from her, and Spark was currently busy with Xene. She suddenly realized no body was watching her at the moment... And now she could possibly get away if she really wanted to, which she did.

She began to silently walk backwards, keeping her eyes on her companions to make sure that they weren't looking. Once she far enough away from the group and they hadn't noticed her moving away, she tutned on heel and began to sprint away in the opposite direction of both the group at the stream, and also away from where she thought was the shack. She moved as silently as she could, yet as fast as her feet and lungs would allow her. She had to get out of there... She had to.

((So, maybe Candie can get away now, and possibly a group can go out looking for her in a bit? And if not and you want someone to find her now, We could wait until it was nighttime there, and then she sneaks out.))

the sound of Autumn (( APPRECIATE THAT RAIN YOU LUCKY THING! And she can run away at night, it'd be too easy to catch her now. Should she start remembering snippets of her old memory? Like, she's in the forest, and it gets that much more emotional and confusing for her because she starts seeing flashes of memory? She just remember smaller things, like a split second of seeing Mo smile at her, or the time Dr. Brise taught her to swallow a pill. ))
