It feels to me as though someone mis-read the intro to this chapter and casted the voices incorrectly. In my reading of it, Pip accompanies Ahab to the deck, but then he is dismissed and Ahab talks to the Carpenter: who is not a boy. Just a comment. I do not want this to end. :)
