Lisa (lisam83) | 6 comments I have a specific question about the plot. Possible spoiler*

Towards the end of the book Kylar stormed into the Chantry and when Areil bound him he threw off the chains with what seemed like a new and deeper magic. Areil asked him what he was. Her sister identified him as an archmage. Was that the answer to her question or was there something more? I would think that Areil would also have the ability to identify an archmage. Opinions?

Sam Griffin | 2 comments I don't think that was the answer, since ariel was a lot more powerful den her sister it seems to me that that was her sister interpreted him given the power he displayed, think ariel prob taught she had an idea of his level of power when she first met him,and then again the second time so she was probably just surprised by how much power he displayed/possessed,so I think it was her looking at what she taught she new aswell as with her guesses/knowledge about what the ka'kari was capable of n asking her minds question aloud more then anything else,

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) He is a Ka'karifer. and she could not known that chains would mean nothing to the black ka'kari

Lisa (lisam83) | 6 comments So you think Kyler was just tapping into the back Ka'kari in a deeper way?

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) Yeah i mean it strengthened his conduit and enhanced his body

Lisa (lisam83) | 6 comments Hmmmm, and since Kylar was a Ka'karifer his bond was stronger than Durzo's?

Raivo Verk | 17 comments but he didnt have the black kakari at the time, so it wasnt that directly, but Kylars block was removed when he became one with it, so yeah, he just tapped into what he already poSsessed, I reckon.

Raivo Verk | 17 comments and I dont think Kylar was stronger than Durzo, not the original Durzo anyway, put over time Durzos belief diminished and he wanted out, if I remember correctly.

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) I may be remembering it wrong but I thought everyone was surprised how strong Kyler was, stronger than anyone they had seen. That statement may have only reflected on "Modern" Glore Vyrdens
