Dee (phonebooklady) "Sigh" I HATE to ask.

So.... If we've read all the firsts, can we count the series? I've read all I want in the "Best" lists. The only thing left would be YA, I'd have to kill myself.

For now, I'm going to go with no on this. There are so many lists out there, that if you don't find it on the "Best of my favorite genre" list, check out the Best of May 2015 (or whatever month your latest in series came out) and see if it appears there. Half the fun of this challenge is looking at all the bizarre lists that are out there.

So, we'll keep the challenge a bit more challenging and go with only the actual books found in the top 20 of an best list.

LOL - I kinda feel the same :)
Luckily I haven't read all the 1-20's on the lists though

That's what's so GREAT about it lol. There are so MANY best lists it would be impossible to not find something.

Dee - I'm reading two YA right now. Not a huge YA fan, but Penryn and the End of World and the Lunar Chronicles I am LOVING.

Depends on what you like - I like fantasy and these are in that genre. One series (Lunar Chronicles Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer ) is a takeoff on the fairy tales Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, etc., but very different still. The other Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee has a very hot angel and some pretty messed up, fascinating supporting characters.

~Melissa~ I mostly like pnr/uf/fantasy with some contemporary and a very rare historical thrown in from time to time. I have Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer sitting on my book shelf in dead tree version - I just have a harder time reading *actual* books than ebooks as my phone is always on me so when I have a few minutes I can get in some reading... maybe I should try to read it this week. The other series I keep hearing about

The audios are VERY good for both these series. Brings them to life.
