Any Walking Dead fans out there? I was so amped to have the mid-season premier finally arrive on Sunday. I am a little disappointed where they are taking it though. I LOVE Daryl and don't want him away from the cameras for too long. Rick going psycho, I'm okay watching him flip switches. I wanted the new group to stay, although if I were them and watched the 'leader' of a new group snapping, I'd grab my gear and hit the hills too. That's assuming I survived this long but I don't hold much confidence in my own abilities to survive the zombie apocalypse. Any other fans? LOL

I love Walking Dead, but unfortunately I missed the beginning of season three, and now I have to wait for it to be on netflixs, I will forever be behind in it now.

It stinks cause season 2 ended so crazy and I'm going crazy with wanting to know whats going on. I can only blame myself, I tend to have the memory of a gold fish at times and I just forget things.

Now that I'm thinking about it I'm really hoping I'm not missing out on Game of Thrones. I have to say I'm impressed with the show, they are following the books really good. Well now I'm off to make friends with google to see if/when the new seasons out and to thank the fact that I have HBO on demand if I did miss it.

Try googling 1 channel (I think the site is actually 1channel.ch but i'm not sure) (: You can watch most shows online free these days. I'm pretty sure walking dead is on there. They have a MASSIVE database filled with almost every show you can think of. If I ever miss an episode of one of my shows I just watch it online. :)

Ah I don't mind waiting. Its kinda nice waiting until I can watch as many episodes as I want in a row. Me and my husband have mini marathons with it, and we don't have to worry about the kids watching it either. But thank you anyway.

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
No problem. I have gotten addicted to many shows by doing marathons. I go to best buy every once in awhile and just pick up season one of a show I've never seen before...Sometimes I end up creating a monster that has to buy the entire show up quickly before I devour the entire thing lol.

Anyone watch the Vampire Diaries?

I will be upset if Jeremy really is dead! I totally called the Katherine thing, but not the Jeremy thing! *growls* They better be able to fix this!

**Watch out mini rant coming up**

You have been warned. Something I really hate. . .when I find an interesting book to read, notice its part of a series. . .BUT can't figure out if its the first book, second or even heck the one hundredth one. It makes me angry, I search and search, go to author web sites and there is no hint or clue as to what book kicks the series off. It can't be hard to add a #1 somewhere in the title, or maybe it is I really don't know, but maybe somewhere in the description. Help a poor reader out. . .calm my anger issues. Help yourself out, cause I drop books like that like a bundle of hairy spiders (which would be fast with tons of screaming).

I'm done now. . .and feel a little better

Hi Angie,

I always use the site www.fantasticfiction.co.uk. Type in the Author and it will bring up all the books that Author has written and in the order, and/or the date, they have written it. If you click on the book title it will bring up a new page with a discription of the book and have a links to Amazon with options of Book or Kindle versions. I love it and use it all the time.

There are ocasions where a book is missing but that is very rare.

Good luck, but I swear by this site.

Thank you for the site. Never even heard of it, and I'm sure I'll use it a lot now that I know about it.

I'm happy to announce that I was able to catch up on Walking Dead. Thanks to my sister visiting from Cali and setting me up on some site.

I'm excited about it watching it tonight. Though I probably won't because the seasons are kicking my butt and have me pretty much laid out. I've been slacking on everything from reading to reviewing in exchange for trying to get some sleep that isn't interrupted by a massive cough attack or a pair of cats fighting on my head.

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
I'm happy your all caught up! But I hope you get better soon! My energy levels have sunk lately. I've been sleeping more. I'm hoping to get back on track soon ;)

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) So happy its the weekend, lots of reading time ahead. Weather is lovely here too, cold but sunny, so hoping to fit in a few runs as well. Have family coming to stay tomorrow so need to start making some preparations soon but first I need to get my goodreads fix!

This is going to be a "Have you ever thought about it?" kind of post.

It all started last night when I once again was ranting to my husband about a book and said some funny things about what I didn't like and knew I wouldn't remember what they where when it time came to review.

Then I remember that you can actually make video reviews, and I thought "Oh my bananas!" if I just recorded everything I just said I could have amused myself for hours by watching. I got some Italian in me and I know there was some crazy hand gestures going on, as well as pleading to the book gods as well.

So to get to the point. Would you ever consider doing video reviews? I know I am. . .mainly because I would be able to amuse myself while making and watching it.

message 17: by Kristine, Reviewer (new)

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
I've thought about it. I figured, I may do a video review sometime in the future and see what feedback I get back. So if you do this before me, you should let me watch yours lol ;)

message 18: by Angie, Reader (new)

Angie (zephyrsong) | 32 comments Mod
Oh I will. . .I'm the most passionate when I don't like a book I'm reading, so it would probably be entertaining.

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Folks I have no interesting in making one but lots of interest in watching yours! Sounds like good fun, will be watching this space for announcements of when you take the plunge!

So about a year ago I wrote a prologue. Just a simple prologue that I posted on goodreads on my profile. But lately the story has been coming back to me and now I have all these ideas for a series with hooks, conflicts, characters, and dialogs. I'm thinking if I can find the time I should really run with it because it sounds interesting and has a different spin then the usual in paranormal YA. Now I just have to find the time lol

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Go for it Kristine, I really enjoyed the piece you did in writers corner. It got my attention.

message 22: by Kristine, Reviewer (new)

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
Are you talking about the piece in the group? Or the piece in my profile? Cuz they are different lol

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) No the piece in the group here, thought you showed good writing style there :)

message 24: by Kristine, Reviewer (new)

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
Ah! Lol thanks :) I'm thinking of running with what I wrote in my profile. I think it's a much better start for a book anyways ;) The piece here I just wrote up quickly in less than 3 minutes lol

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Post it here Kristine or a link, don't see it in your profile. I'll be your first beta reader for your idea! Lol

I just had a brain explode. So I know everyone knows about the Twilight books, I think you would have to be living under a rock to not ever heard of them. I got nothing against them, and I'm not afraid to admit I have read them all.

What you might not know is about Stephenie Meyer's book The Host. It is in my opinion nothing like Twilight, and has always kind of confused me as to how she could write two books completely different from each other. The Host is a book that is in a small category for me, something that I have read more then once.

So here comes the brain explode part. . .they made a movie of it. Since I don't watch anything other then cartoon network and nickelodeon (if you have kids you will understand this) it was a little of a shock to me. So I thought I would share this, just in case there are others that didn't know, and to say give The Host a chance if you haven't picked it up.

message 28: by Kristine, Reviewer (new)

Kristine (theschwartzreviews) | 108 comments Mod
I saw that too! I haven't had a chance to read the book yet and I will definitely read the book before I watch the movie. I'm looking forward to it ;) I loved the twilight books much better then the movies. So I'm sure the same will go for the host as well. :)

Been severely busy lately with my school work. :( Finding only minutes here and there to read. I only have a couple more weeks of classes though and then exams start. But then, after all that, I have a four month hiatus from school. :) Whoop! Can you guess how many books I will be able to read when that time comes? A LOT!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I had a great day :)

I just finished updating my blogs look. What do ya think of it now?

I'm not the best with graphics but I think it looks a lot better then before at least :)

It looks great, Kristine. I suggest changing the color of the text in your header though, since the dark color blends in with the background. The red is fine, but perhaps just change your tagline to like a lighter black or gray or a grayish white...? Just my two cents...but the redesign looks really good.

Thanks :) I will fix it up when I get back to my computer! Thanks for the feedback though. I like knowing what to fix and what works ;)

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Cool blogover! Looks very urban fantasy like. Like your new button too, great way of getting your blog out there and recognised.

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Happy St Patrick's weekend everyone!

I'm celebrating my country's national feastday by joining in a read-a-thon. Yay!

I live in a small community and a club that puts together activities for kids in the summer is holding a St. Patty's Day party tonight. I've volunteered to help run the bar tonight. Going to be fun ;)

Trish at Between My Lines (trishbetweenmylines) Sounds like fun, we have a big family gathering tomorrow, looking forward to that.

Great interview, I loved the questions. I would have liked to see a book cover but I know they're not always available. Great job!

Hannah (hannah_mayj) Hi all, I have a little request (and after going through all the threads this seemed most logical).

I can't offer you anything if you do, except my most heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciations for helping a girl out.
It should only take 5-10 minutes, so if you can click through the link below:

And feel free to share this across social media and with all your book loving friends.
