2017 Reading Challenge discussion

I've been putting the word out that I need recommendations for vampire books, and a coworker suggested The Passage and the other books in the series.

This was an interesting book set in the not-too-distant future, but in a society very different from the one we live in today. I really enjoyed the story, which was complex but not too difficult to follow.

It's a very long book, but didn't really seem that way, which was a relief. I'm looking forward to the next one!
