What's your opinion of Seth? His best qualities? Anything specific you didn't like about him?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I'm still pondering this one. His sacrifice of family and love for justice made him an intense character.

Yet, did he feel sorry for himself in Florida, or why did he not try to reconcile with his family?

He hints that he did some despicable things while undercover -- was this not forgivable in his own mind?

I liked Seth and felt him honorable and sensitive. I don't think he thought that undercover role would last so long. He was idealistic, thinking he'd be able to get it done in months, not years.

He made the best decision for his family but was so overridden by guilt that he was willing to let them permanently sever ties. It didn't seem so much a pity party as him just being adrift and rudderless. He hadn't a clue as to what to do with his life.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments After thinking about Seth having a form of PTSD, I have "rethunk" the idea of pity party. I agree with you, that he was rudderless, a better insight.

Quynh (quynh_o) | 134 comments I love Seth as well. He didn't have any other options once he got in deep with Clemmons. Even if he backed out, that would also put his family and Honor at risk, so he had to go through with it. I agree with you Jonetta that it took longer than he wanted to take Clemmons down, mainly because he wanted more evidence to put him away permanently instead of short term. He's got the integrity to see things through. There's no doubt that he's super protective of those he loves. I hurt for him when he felt the need to isolate himself from his family, and the pain when he left Honor.

I hurt for him, too, and was so grateful that he had someone like Honor who knew the importance of having his family in his life.

He has a true hero's struggle of doing what is right for everyone and his own happiness. I admire him a lot and think he's perfect for Honor.
