I didn't pick a book from the year I was born (it's an odd story involving my job). Anyway, I picked this year because I LOVED the book 1984 by George Orwell. 1984 sounded like a great year, unless you were one of Orwell's characters. Anyway, I found this book was published that year, so I'm running with one. It seems like a great story, and I can't wait to devour the words. I'm starting it tonight.
