Please nominate a book you really feel you ought to / must read. Something worthy of a "must read before you die" status.
I'd like to have a long list so that we can comment on each others choices and maybe make a few "a book of the month"

Bit of an old post but I'm new here! I absolutely loved Room by Emma Donaghue, its not one of the classics or anything like that, but I couldnt put it down and got me thinking about the outside world and how it would seem if i had never left my home!
