To explain the title:
It's not even close to being an official database (like one would ever exist--there are way too many books to make one!), but it WILL be where I post what I'm reading, and any interesting thoughts I have, and any links I enjoy, so it's my database, I guess.

Feel free to comment if you want. *shrug*

Currently reading Maleficent by Elizabeth Rudnick , based on a movie I have no interest in. But the book is pretty good.

I realized yesterday that to write, you really need two things:
-Consistent determination (as in, you can't switch a lot between loving and hating your novel)
-Time

I don't have either. :(

I'm on page eight of The Lost Children, which is an...incredibly quirky book, I guess

:)
I just finished a disappointing book-- Kristy and the Secret of Susan. I understand that it was written in the 90's but seriously....the autistic character is so stereotypical!
Now I plan to read The Invasion, another 90's 'favorite'. I only bought it for nostalgia. :p

Re-reading a middle grade historical fiction book
Rodzina by Karen Cushman

I finished one or two mediocre, obscure books, and I'm on page 77 of Defining Dulcie

Wow. I haven't posted here in a while...
Yesterday I got back from vacation. I'm bored now, and I'm conflicted about what science class I'll take next year (advanced/Honors or normal).

So hard to remember this, with so much else happening...school preparation and more. :/
