I read this with another book club. While they were all gushing over the book ... I was saying it was ok. Just another typical Sparks book. IMHO
The first Sparks book i read, it ended so beautiful I was in tears.

I have real most of Nicholas Sparks books including this one. I felt like this one stood out from the rest for the sheer fact that:
One) There were two seperate love stories that intertwined in an unexpected way.
Two)Though the story between Luke and Sophia [the young couple] was predictable and a usual Sparks's romance, I felt like Ira's story with his wife stood out against anything he has written.
With these two stories in this one book, I feel like it's worth the read. It sets your feels ablaze.

Loved Ira & Ruth's story, and adored how it came together in the end!
