2017 Reading Challenge discussion

I chose The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy as the book I can finish in a day because it's a quick and easy read and I've had it recommended to me multiple times now, so I decided to give it a try, overall I thought it was cute, funny, and entertaining, but I am not planning on reading the others in the series.
Okay I just changed my mind and decided to put this under the challenge category "Book Recommended to you" because I'm all out of those.

I'm planning to read this book for the funny book category, since everyone I know keeps telling me they actually laughed out lound. I loved the movie, so let's see how I find the book it's based on.

Just the first book, I wrote in my comment that while it was funny and entertaining, I'm not planning on reading any of the other books in this series. I truly have no desire to find out what happens to the main characters after the first book.
