K.N. (karmaplace) I devoured this and there was lots to like, but I'm wondering if anyone else was left wanting more? There were tangents I wished had been followed more, perhaps, but, it was definitely a good book regardless!

Robyn (seawitchrecovers) | 50 comments I love this book. I definitely wanted more at the end! Just read another short story by Gaiman that had a similar storyline. It was called "October in the Chair." It didn't quite leave me fulfilled, but it helped a bit.

Amy Keeley (safire_blue) I really loved this book, though I thought parts of the ending were sad and wished things had worked out somewhat differently, though I did find the ending pretty inspiring. On a side note, I also loved the way he worked in what was essentially homeschooling, both before and after the attempt at public school.

That said, there were aspects that I really wish had been explored more. But then, I'm starting to expect that whenever I read a story by Gaiman. Black Orchid and a good portion of The Sandman were like that.

Definitely a book I'm recommending to my kids.

Jim (jkmfilms) | 109 comments I thought this was creepy and weird. But I really liked it :)

Gaiman is always amazing.

eHawk I found this book to be super adorable in general, and just the right amount of darkness. I wish this book existed when I was younger. I sort of wish that Bod actually left the graveyard with a little bit more understanding of Liza and young love? But I also recognize that might take the book beyond where YA should go.

I could say the same about wanting to know more about the Jacks.... I really wanted to get into that more, but I think that would have quickly left YA land.
