Started this one last night (yes, I fell behind, *sad*). So far it's a bit weird, I guess I can tell why it has bad reviews. It changes point of view just about every paragraph! I mean, I like when books change point of view, but it's usually every chapter or so. This is a bit overkill.
This is on my TBR list and I've attempted to start it a few different times and I just can't get into it :(
Definitely understand that Brittany. There have been a few sentences I relate to, but the format is just ... weird. We'll see how I feel as I get further in.
I'm glad I didn't give up on this one. I got more used to the style, and actually started to like/relate to some of the characters. Not enough to give it more than 3 stars though - the style was really offputting, and some of the revelations felt really forced. Plus nothing was really concluded (but I think the author intended that). I'd really like to know about the mom's mental health...
