Nothing could have prepared them for the last day. Explore the future of humanity in Massimo Marino’s sci-fi debut (2012), Daimones, an apocalyptic tale that feels like it could happen tomorrow. You may never sleep through a windstorm again.
Death swept away the lives of billions, but spared Dan Amenta and his family, leading them to an uncertain future. When merely surviving isn’t enough and the hunt for answers begins, memories from the past and troubling encounters lead Dan to the truth about the extermination of the human race and give new meaning to their very existence.
Early humans shaped the future and seeded a plan millions of years in the making. Now survivors must choose: Endure a future with no past or fade away into a past with no future?

An assassin is sent from the Yoni Civilisation, back through the web of time to the current day. His mission is to kill the Mother of the Future, his future, in order to alter the course of history. For his civilisation is ruled by women, a world lacking any war or conflict and which has left men feeling emasculated. If he can prevent her daughter and her ideas from being born, to prevent them from ever existing, perhaps male dominance can be re-established, turning herstory back into history.
The assassin has several obstacles to overcome. He has no weapons he can bring with him. Nor has he had any exposure to violence, which is unfortunate since his target lives on a tough housing estate, so that he is going to have to battle through his belligerent male ancestors to get to her. Then he has to get close enough to his target. Seductively close... And that's when the comedic clash of present and future cultures begins.
"Time After Time", where "Terminator" and "Looper" meet "Attack The Block", with a DJ providing the soundscape. Who is the shadowy DJ spinning records that not only seem to soundtrack the action, but to influence it? The novel has a Spotify playlist link to all the songs featured within it.

Sci-fi/Fantasy book that has been getting great reviews. I just ordered another batch of paperback copies that I can give away. I can also send e-books out for free as gifts through Amazon.
Here is a blurb about the book:
The year is 2319. Lt. Comm Roy O’Hara leads his squadron against the enemy’s latest Super Destroyer and is shot down over an unexplored planet. The planet holds secrets to a long lost alien weapon and the key to Roy’s own destiny. Near death Roy is found by Katreena, a beautiful and mysterious woman. When she finds Roy, he’s broken and battered, and saves his life with the Boto Stone. She is unaware that by doing so she will create a deep bond and awaken an affect not seen for hundreds of years; the ability to communicate to each other in dreams. An unguarded moment leads to a forbidden night of intimacy; an act of betrayal to the crown, an act that will put both their lives in jeopardy. Katreena flees to save them both. Danger increases as their secret may be discovered and war erupts on their planet
Here are a couple of samples from The Warrior's Stone
From Chapter 1
23:18 was the time displayed on the luminescent dial from Roy’s watch that he peeked at from under his suit cuff. “The enemy’s late.” he whispered to himself, for no other reason than just to hear a human voice for a moment. The wait was frustrating for Roy and his pilots, but not surprising. They expected a large fleet and large fleets could often be slowed down by any number of things, the bigger the fleet the longer the delay. Yet seven hours was a long time to be alone with one's own thoughts in the absolute stillness of space.
Most young pilots think the scariest things about combat is the fight, but it doesn’t take them long to learn their real enemies are their own inner demons. The mind wasn’t designed to exist in a vacuum. In the absence of any light or sound it will create its own sounds and images, even to the point of hallucinations. Roy had seen it all too often before. The toughest, hardest men you would ever meet, suddenly consumed by images in their head created by the memories of the violence they had witnessed and the whispers of friends who had died. “Void Fatigue” was what the doctors had been calling it, but to the pilots it was simply “cracking up”.
From Chapter 7
Roy couldn’t help laugh a little bit. “Well, I find you very interesting as well,” he said as he took her hand into his and gently caressed it. “So you are saying that you have some freedoms in this dream world that you don’t have in the real world?”
She pulled her hand away. “Freedoms yes, but I did not say liberties.”
“Would you allow me to pay you a compliment that I might not be able to when we are awake?”
“That depends on the complement.”
“Would you allow me to say that you are beautiful?" she didn't answer. He moved a little closer. “Or that you have the most amazing eyes I have ever seen?" She tried not to smile but could not help it. Yet she still did not answer. "May I tell you how amazed I am at your spirit of generosity and compassion?" He moved even closer and looked into her eyes. "Would I be out of line to tell you how impressed I am at your skills and knowledge? I have never known anyone who knew and understood so much about the world around them and how to use it to their advantage." Her lips began to tremble as he moved close enough for her to feel his breath on her face. "Would you be horribly offended if I told you that you are the first woman whom I have found so overwhelmingly attractive in many, many years?”
“Sir, I believe you have said enough,” she said feeling quite overwhelmed herself by the complements and moved back a bit.
“That wasn’t an answer to my question,” he said moving closer to her.
“I shall not answer.”
“Then let me ask another. If this is a dream and everything that happens doesn’t really happen, then if I kiss you would the kiss have never happened?”
She thought about it for a moment and then said. “It would be inappropriate for me to kiss you.”
“I didn’t ask you to kiss me.”
“You did not?”
“No, I was asking if you would let it happen if I was to kiss you.” Roy answered. He then leaned in and kissed her softly and gently.

New adult dystopian/science fiction novel. Part one in a trilogy known as Project W. A. R.
In a society where oppression and conformity rule the masses and the slightest unusual behavior could be seen as treasonous, Wynter Reeves would do just about anything to ensure she isn't noticed. However, when she begins to show symptoms of a rare and debilitating illness, she unwillingly attracts the attention of the State—in particular, the feared research facility known as the DSD. Through them she learns of the true nature of her condition, a disease known only as Ultraxenopia:
