If you are the author of HISTORICAL books and want to partake in the July group read you can submit your book here. If the submission does not fit the below guidelines you will be asked to amend it.

By submitting your book for the Group Read you agree to:
- Provide free copies of your book to those who request it unless stated otherwise. Charging for the copies would likely result in decreased interest.
- Be a good winner/loser, no arguing the decisions of the polls.
- Be contactable when the poll ends so that I can find out how you will disperse the books.
- People who request your book are not required to review it but if you request feedback in the Group Read threads then I'm sure others will comply!
- You must only submit your OWN novel because you must have the means of distributing the books you suggest.
- Please only put forward one of your books per month, it isn't fair otherwise.
- Submissions will REQUIRE an excerpt to give readers a feel of the books.
- ONLY POST YOUR BOOK IN ONE GENRE AND MAKE SURE IT ACTUALLY FITS THAT GENRE!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Soleilmavis Liu | 1 comments I would like to submit my book The Queen of the South in Matthew 12: 42.

I would like to give free ebook to those who are willing to read my book.

Brief introduction of the book:

The Bible prophesies the Queen of the South will rise at the judgment, but did not give her name or any other detail about her.

The Queen of the South in Matthew 12:42, authored by Soleilmavis Liu, is a strong and well-reasoned piece that demonstrates who the Queen of the South is, by using plenty of historical facts. It lets readers understand where the Ends of the Earth are, how the Queen of the South will come from the Ends of the Earth, and what the judgment is. Ultimately, readers will come to know God’s great plan regarding the Queen of the South.

Soleilmavis hopes that her presentation sheds new light on this important person, who will play a decisive role in the history. This book is a step in that direction.

I would like to submit my book Diamonds Fall

I will be able to give free e-books to people willing to read it. If you could also review it, that'd be swell!

"She noticed as if in a dream, a single diamond hair comb fall to the floor. The sparkling jewels landed face down in the mud."

Annabel Maria Hoddington is the epitome of high society. She has everything money can buy and as befits a lady of her station, is engaged to the richest bachelor in England. However, on the day of her eighteenth birthday - her perfect future on the brink of fulfilment - she is abducted and held hostage in an isolated village, where she finds herself entrapped in the harsh world of poverty. Forced to live amongst three mentally scarred siblings, she must adapt to her new, sinister world...or die.

You can view the entire first chapter on my blog here: http://rebeccamgibson.blogspot.co.uk/...

- Rebecca.

Harold Titus (haroldtitus) | 53 comments I submit my Revolutionary War novel Crossing the River for consideration. The novel narrates the harrowing experiences of ordinary and famous people who were forced to or willingly volunteered to participate in combat April 19, 1775, the day that a British force of 700 Redcoats was sent to Concord, Massachusetts, to destroy arms and gunpowder illegally stockpiled by rebellious citizens. The novel is both character and theme-driven and historically informative.

Alice Poon (alice_poon) I would like to submit my debut novel Fated and Fateless for consideration as a group read.

I could provide Kindle or PDF version of the book for readers.

Brief Synopsis:

This is a story of love, corruption, greed and betrayal set in a past era in colonial Hong Kong, spanning four decades from the late 1940s – a period marked by patriarchal bigotry, gender discrimination and Western ideals beginning to challenge old Chinese traditions.

Wendy, the self-made corporate executive, has strong faith in free will and conscientious choices but has a hard time living up to her principles. Diana, the spoiled and selfish daughter of a property tycoon, prefers to find refuge in superstition and self-delusion. Their paths cross each other in fiery episodes.

In October 1987 (when world stock markets crashed on Black Monday), Wendy the working-class idealist and Diana the would-be heiress finally come to a face-off in a corporate takeover attempt, the outcome of which leads to a life-changing epiphany for both characters.

Why Should It Be Selected?

Apart from a gripping storyline, the novel gives a lot of details that describe the unique culture of Hong Kong, which encompasses East and West influences. It gives an insight into the recent paradigm shift in Hong Kong’s general social consciousness.
