That's exciting. This has sort of lingered on my "to read" list much of my life (never had to read it in school) so it'll be nice to just make it happen. :)

Steinbeck is one of my favorites. I have to be in the right mood to read his stuff, and really any classic, but this one is great. East of Eden is my favorite of his.

I read it in high school and I remember that I loved it.
