Love this series. Am halfway through the 4th book right now. Commenting to follow the discussion once more people have finished.

I was a little disappointed with America, would have liked a bit more kick ass and a little less whining, but most people I have talked with don't seem to share the opinion? (This is in no way meant to offend someone who loved this series, it's all just opinions :))

I felt like that a little bit too, but keep reading!!! She gets better...

So I just finished this and I really liked it. (view spoiler)[ I liked how America befriended the Prince and there relationship grew from there. I think that Aspen gave up on her to easily and shouldn't have worried about his pride so much. Can't wait to start the second book (hide spoiler)]

I loved The Selection and I really want to read The Heir.

I was surprised by how much I liked it. I only read it because so many say it's a must read, so I did. Yes, it really was a mixture of Hunger Games and Bachelor but I liked it. I also liked that the love grew from nothing instead of love at first sight, which is kind of rare from the books I normally read. There were some things that I didn't like but overall it's a series I wouldn't mind re-reading.
