So I absolutley loved A Darker Shade of Magic and was super excited to find out it was the start to a series. other than that the Graphic Novel Kill Shakespeare was amazing, but if you look at my list you'll see that im kind of a Shakespeare junkie so I'm not sure how much everybody else would like it. More that anything I have read some books that were not that good at all. So if anyone is looking for a book with bad reviews may I suggest : Wuthering Heights (I gave it one star) and The Thritheenth Tale also not good.
I am truly enjoying the challenge and have moved on to reading Madame Bovary (well listening to it) to use for a classic romance and I'm going to start a Christopher Moore book to use for a book I own but havent read yet. I'm having a lot of fun planning out my next to read and going througth the books I own that I keep meaning to read that will fit in the catagories.

Honestly, I got down to 6 books and it's been a drag ever since. Next year, I'm doing the hardest ones first :)

I started with the hardest ones myself, though I left the 500 page one for the summer. I now have only ONE book left, and that is it. I am about 20% through it, and I am certain I will have it finished before the end of the year. Not sure if I will have it before the end of the summer...as it is a slow read for me. I like it, but it is not holding my attention, so I keep going back and forth. I have other challenges, and I tend to put it down to go to them.
Do you own any other books that you might enjoy? I found one that I had been reading last year, and enjoyed, but suddenly stopped (it was on my Kindle, and I just forgot I was reading it). I have LOTS on Kindle that I would love to read...so, that was a category that was really easy for me.LOL. I would check around to see if you have another book. I would not read a book you really did not enjoy. Not worth it. Too many other good books that should be taking up your time. And, this should not be the Bataan Death March. It is suppose to be fun.

A book a friend recommended - The Hound of the Baskervilles(recommended by my librarian friend Kim)
A Pulitzer Prize winning book - The Old Man and the Sea (Pulitzer Prize 1953)
A book that scares you - When the Wind Blows
A book more than 100 years old - Wuthering Heights*
A book based entirely on its cover - Slay It with Flowers
A book you can finish in one day - Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe

What have you enjoyed? Anything I HAVE to add to my list for the rest of the year?
