Persephone Books discussion

Is anyone reading this one right now?
I just saw a really interesting blog post about this book, where she mentions religious language imagery throughout the novel -

For example, she sees Mr. Knight as Satan. Did anyone else notice other religious imagery?

Also, here's the first minute of the film version of the novel - it's too bad the movie isn't available...I would love to see it!
