Speculative Short Fiction Deserves Love discussion

Magic And Secrets is a collection of my high fantasy stories. Or rather, of two novelettes and a novella, which are also available individually:

The Wolf and the Ward is about a young woman sent to a man as his ward -- who discovers a surprisingly warm welcome hides other, worse secrets.

In The Princess Goes Into The Forest, some characters from our world go into a prop room and start to pick out things from a medieval-like world. This has effects far beyond what they intend.

The Lion and the Library features a woman who has the right to search through the library. When the king decides to murder her betrothed to avert ill-luck, her only chance is to find a legend of lions.
