Ok, so I re-read this book for the group this month and just finished. I posted my updates and comments on the book's status, so I guess I'll copy them over now..

Re-reading this book, it seemed...different. Not bad different, but not quite as I remembered it. I guess I just kept noticing new details. It's a strange feeling.
I found a new favorite page of the book: p.251. (okay, maybe not absolute favorite, but a really good page) I can't find the quote though! So I guess you'll just have to find it in your own copy (which hopefully will have the same page numbers :|)

Bec (_becandbooks) I was hoping to see someone's first impressions of the book in this discussion! Especially considering the movie hype etc.

SO, who else read this book this month? Did anyone read it for the first time?

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) I read this book last year, and though I found it very predictable, I enjoyed it. Hazel was a good narrator, and I liked hearing her story. I was warned there may be tears, but I managed to avoid that! ;) If I were to see the movie however, I am sure a couple would escape!

Butterfly Mentions I also read the book and fortunately before the film. It is so heartbreakingly in parts. But also so well-written and a wonderful love story. I couldn't watch the movie yet because I don't know if I have to cry.
