2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

This is a book that I've honestly owned forever and just never gotten around to reading. It's a YA historical fiction and while I really like historical fiction I'm not nearly as familiar with the occupation (and subsequent rebellions) of Wales as I am with similar periods of Ireland and Scotland.

I was optimistic but ultimately disappointed by the book. I just didn't find it enjoyable to read. It POV switches which isn't a huge issue except that neither of the characters we get POVs for are particularly good people, or as interesting as they could've been.

I finished the book in a day but if I hadn't been reading it for this challenge I don't know if I would have been able to push myself through it.

Has anyone else read this or was planning to reading it?
