Isabelrt | 4 comments There are a few books in the syllabus I've already read. Some of them quite some time ago, some in the more recent past. I bet I'm not the only one, and I wonder what you guys plan to do with those readings. Skip them? Skim over the reading? Read it in more detail, hoping to get something new out of them?

My choice was: reread them (Alice and Dracula)and I think it was worth it...while reading for the course I did notice things which went unnoticed before.

Hugo (amarenco) | 10 comments I am not a fast reader. And I'm just getting accustomed to reading with a deadline. Dracula I did not manage to finish, yet when the course is over I will, for sure. Frankenstein looks doable.

the only book i had already read was alice in wonderland.

reading to a timetable is hard and yes, the coursera schedule is tight. Some books I have read before but to stay with the course I focus on reading just one chapter and extract something from that. It's enough to get an essay out and fulfills the course requirements. It does however mean close reading. .... just an idea to cope with the time demands - good luck!-

Rana | 1 comments I'm a really slow reader so I haven't been able to most of the books. I end up writing on the parts I did finish.
