Evan (perfect_leaves) | 97 comments I start work next week, so I have no idea how much time I'll have to read/how tired I'll be after work, but I'll definitely read for the readathon.

My goal is to finish The Black Poets and The Alchemy of Happiness.

I also need to get started on The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory. It's on my "currently reading" shelf, but I'm only on page 8 or 9, haha.

message 3: by Ginny (new)

Ginny | 1 comments I think I'll use this time to plow through Mason and Dixon. I've tried reading it three times and hoping to get through it for good. After that, i have lots of other books on my tbr list!

message 4: by Yuxiang (new)

Yuxiang Wei | 1 comments My plan is to try to finish "Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen", which is pretty long, and I've procrastinated so much that there's still a lot to get through. I hope I'd be able to reach as far as I can, if not till the last page. Hectic days ahead, but I'm going to be satisfyingly busy! ^_^

Christina Browne (chrissy1800) | 1 comments i will be trying to finish war masters gate and hoping to start and finish seal of the worm

It's funny how many of us are reaching for non fiction for this particular Readathon. I've got three in mind to try to finish finish.

1) And The Band Played On
2) Wild Swans
3) Stiff

I've started all and put them aside for one reason or another. I'm thinking about grabbing some bonus points for completing something "abandoned" since each was started and sidetracked at least year ago.

message 7: by bittertea (new)

bittertea I'm going to try and finish The Republic of Thieves (which I've been reading for a while and keep getting stuck on) and White is for Witching (which I just started today and is looking to be a quick read)

message 10: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments I love that people are gearing up for the readathon and even thinking about using the time to collect extra bonus points for the month! This week is a bit busy at work so I'm hoping to have time to dive into:

MWF Seeking BFF: My Yearlong Search For A New Best Friend (previously abandoned)
The Girl on the Train (Thanks for the recommendation Leanne!)
The Rumor (my favourite beach read author)

message 11: by Arvind (new)

It's time for Indian Mythology.

message 12: by Stella (new)

Stella (stellarreads) | 46 comments I'm planning to finally finish One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (I finished Part One and put it aside and havent picked it back up for weeks now so that's a priority). Then I'll read Lolita and The Hunger Games trilogy (reread the first one and finally finish the whole trilogy)

message 13: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Jones (mindyrecycles) I'm going to try to finish Jane Eyre this week. I work full-time so it'll be a challenge, but I have a summer class starting on the 13th and after that recreational reading time will probably be limited. My RL book club is reading "The Dog Who Knew Too Much" which I have on hold at the library. If it's ready this week I'll have to set Jane aside and get that read.

message 14: by Katie (new)

Katie | 1 comments Fangirl
Dunblane Never Forget
How We Met

These are the ones I'm fairly confident I'll finish. If I manage to do that I'll make a start on The Hunger Games.

Well, new plan because of course a library book I've been waiting on becomes available. Finish The Book of Speculation, and start Reconstructing Amelia instead.

message 23: by Drew (new)

Drew (bookaddict1986) | 19 comments They didn't have the books I wanted to read at the library. I got out Please Ignore Vera Dietz( going to try to read it by the end of the day), Glory O'Brien's History of the future, Everyday, and The Adults. I'm also going to see what I can read of Hollow City and The Ocean at the End of the Lane.

I realize that this is very ambitious to read in one week but I'm going to see what I can accomplish.

message 24: by Kassandra (new)
