Hey guys,
I dropped the ball and did not get a poll up, so I decided to do a "moderator's selection." I used the randomizer to select it, however. This month we will feature Chris Abani. I will come back with links to relevant materials for him.

I've read two books by Abani, and am likely to read more in the future:
Graceland
Becoming Abigail

Especially the second one is very much recommended.

I agree. Becoming Abigail is a great book. Tough emotionally, but really important!

I have enjoyed all of Abani's fiction that I have read:

The Secret History of Las Vegas
The Face: Cartography of the Void

I am not much of a poetry reader - so have not read any of his poetry books.

New-to-me author... GraceLand looks accessible
