This thread is to list the volumes in which Patricia Briggs has her short stories published. Hopefully, she will release a collection of all of them in one volume one day.

I will attempt to note if the short story is related to the Mercy Thompson or Alpha and Omega series. Since they are separate series, I have listed them separately, even though there is crossover. If you see that I have not posted the series, feel free to chime in. I will add it to the description.

On the Prowl by Patricia Briggs (Alpha and Omega Prequel)
Wolfsbane and Mistletoe by Charlaine Harris (Mercy Thompson series)
Strange Brew by P.N. Elrod (Alpha and Omega series)
Home Improvement Undead Edition by Charlaine Harris
Down These Strange Streets by George R.R. Martin (Mercy Thompson series)
Naked City Tales of Urban Fantasy (Riverside Series; The Dresden Files, #10.9) by Ellen Datlow
Silver Birch, Blood Moon by Ellen Datlow
Happily Ever After by John Klima
The Urban Fantasy Anthology by Peter S. Beagle

Wishing Well out of Sword and Sorcery Magazine Issue #6--available to read on Patricia Briggs' website:

Carolyn F. Ooh, there's a few I've not bought or got from the library. I'll have to put them on my wishlist.

Thanks for the list =) I will need to add a couple to my "to buy" list. One thing I want to point out is that A&O and Mercy are in the same universe.

Naked City – Fairy Gifts (Mercy/A&O universe)
Down These Strange Streets - (M/A&O)
Home Improvement - Gray (M/A&O)

Thanks, Michelle. I realize there is crossover, but I count them as separate for this list because the series are separate.

Can you tell me specifically if the story is focused on the Mercy Thompson storyline or Alpha and Omega? That's the distinction.

Michielle | 37 comments It's hard to say w/ Naked City, Fairy Gifts, but the Gray Lords are involved. I will have to check into the other 2.

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) | 297 comments With Naked City's Fairy Gifts it is not related to either MT OR A&O. Its set in the past, and, except for the Gray Lords, doesn't really seem to have a relationship to the MT world at all.

In Down These Strange Streets the story In Red, With Pearls is definately a Mercy story, since it features Warren and Kyle.

The other 3 I haven't read, so no idea about them. But that takes care of 2 of them.

I saw on PB's website that she has a link to read her short story "Wishing Well"

http://www.patriciabriggs.com/books/w...

I added it to the list above.

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) | 297 comments Ok, I liked that story. And Vernor was a VERY wise man, not to make a wish. Wishes invariably turn out wrong some how.

Even as short as it was--you STILL got the feel for the 2 men--using the word "men" advisedly--and their personalities. Patty really IS a good author. Not many can get that feeling of personality in a short story.

Has (has_bookpusher) | 17 comments I don't know where to post this but Fair Game is right now up against the fab Nalini Singh's Archangel's Storm for the Dabwaha tournament. We just heard back from Patty as part of a bribe if Fair Game bests against Archangel's Storm, she will write a Charles and Anna short which will be posted on her main site! Since we wont get an A&O book in a while its a good chance to get a short featuring Anna and Charles. Right now she's losing and the voting ends midnight CST! Here is the link to vote. http://dabwaha.com/

And for the upcoming anthology which will be out later this year hopefully. There will be an Asil and Kara short story, a Ben story and one featuring Ben as well. There will also be a Samuel and Ari first meeting and we will learn more about how Sam and Bran became werewolves! The anthology will also compile the previous published short stories as well.
